I recently treated my niece to a pedicure. I have been a resident of Manchester for over 35 years and i know that a good pedicure, with hot stone treatment, done by a friendly technician (that doesn’t mind removing old polish for free) and comes with a cozy massage chair is easy to find in town from $25-40. I decided to try M salon Sunday. I made the big mistake of assuming that being located centrally (at the entrance to the mall On Hale Road) that they must be competively priced. I was very surprised when we went in on Sunday to get ourselves pedicures and the cheapest pedi was $50. my niece had her heart set on getting a pedi and we didn’t have a lot of time to go somewhere else, so against my better judgement, i decided to do it. i told our techs we wanted the least expensive pedi.
The massage chair was SO LOUD there was no way to use it without disturbing every client in there. (Its the Third one up from the windows, Don’t sit there!).
When i went to pay i nearly left without doing so. I definitely should NOT have paid the full bill when the technician gave it to me. I did pay it but i shouldn’t have. I should have paid JUST THE $100 that i had Agreed to pay and walked out forever. They jacked up the cost WAY more than the 50 per pedi they quoted. I was completely blindsided when i went to pay. nothing made those pedicures worth that kind of money. They added in for our polish removal and a “gel application” which i said i didn’t even want! As well as for nail cutting! When she saw my color choice, The technician got up and took the non-gel color that i pocked and instead brought back a similar color but apparently it was gel. She said his lasts longer and was all excited about it, As though she was doing me a favor. Meanwhile this was all without ever saying it’s more $ for that gel polish SHE insisted that we switch to. I could go on, But mainly don’t ever go here. There are at least 20 better places in Manchester for A LOT less expensive and you’ll get a MUCH better pedi and a MUCH nicer experience. I Can not recommend the M salon at all. They need to be way more upfront on pricing and they are way over priced for where they are located and the experience they provide. It deserves NO STARS but i can’t post this review without clicking on one star!

I called to ask how much they would do acrilics for and she said we don’t do acrylics then hung up quickly before I could even say thank you. Literally the whole phone call all she said was “we don’t do acrylic”. I don’t know how the staff is in person but they are obviously extremely rude over the phone!

I asked if they are, "Transgender Friendly" for a relative, she said, "No" and hung up on me.

WARNING!!!!!!! These people are scam artists! They don't even deserve 1 star. We purchased $100 in gift cards, 3months ago. Just tried to use one, and they said they can not accept them! They did not have a valid reason, as there is no reason to do this to a customer. Just hope I can warn some people, so they don't get ripped off, like I did!

Always a warm welcome. They are very accommodating and super friendly. I love this salon! It's always spotless. My mani pedi's are beautiful. I've been a client here since they opened and have NEVER had a bad experience.
