I’m leaving this review on behalf of my girlfriend, who visited for the last time this last week:
“This place has been consistently dropping in quality over the past few months.
I wanna start off by saying that I used to go and see one specific tech - Daniel. He was awesome. He was really nice and really good at what he did. He would give extremely high quality gel manicures that would literally last for weeks. He was a great technician, very gentle, thorough, and paid close attention to detail.
However, Daniel has since left Nailed and Lashed, and I have yet to find anyone in the studio who is comparable.
The last few times I’ve been, the customer service has been terrible. I have not felt welcome at all. Very impersonal, and almost rude.
When I arrived at the studio for my appointment last week, they were running behind for my appointment. Not a big deal, but once they started my treatment, it was like they were trying to make up for lost time. They rushed, cut me several times, didn’t do what I asked - the nail shape wasn’t right even after correcting them multiple times, they got nail polish on my skin, and overall I’d just say they didn’t do a good job.
The finish was bumpy and my gel manicure literally peeled off after 6 days. The tech put lotion and oil on my hands before they applied my nail polish. I’m not a tech, but I’ve been getting manicures long enough to know the steps, and they clearly did them out of order. When I tried to point out the mistakes as they were made, they acted like I was being an inconvenience.
Honestly, it feels like their business model is to get as many people in as they can at any given time, rush through the process, and then get them out the door. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll be recommending the same for all my friends.”

I've been to this place about 8 times on and off (when I've been in town) for the past 3 years or so and at first I really enjoyed it. It has a fun atmosphere and the technicians were talented at what they did- they could do the simple stuff or do really opulent/complex nail art. I've gotten both regular gel nails, and acrylics with tips and nail art.
With many nail salons, this place has a lot of turnover, and one of the girls who did my nails a few times that I really liked left the salon and went to the other side of town. I kept going to Nailed and Lashed but noticed major amounts of turnover. Now it just seems a lot less professional.
A lot of the nail techs are still really skilled and great at doing nail art/shaping, etc. but recently when I've gone things were very unorganized at the front. At one point I was waiting for 25 min after my scheduled appointment time when the tech was actually in the building but there was miscommunication and he went to get food. I've also been privy to arguments/drama in the place when someone would come over, and start ranting about someone to the tech who was doing my nails. Sometimes there would be confusion on who was doing my manicure vs. pedicure, and it just wasn't a seamless, relaxing experience.
They now only take cash which was the final straw as I don't like carrying lots of cash on me and figured that I could find a better place.
If you don't mind paying in cash, the techs are good at what they do and can create some pretty cool nails. Unfortunately after a few stressful and less than ideal situations, I'm going to search for another spot.

I love getting my lashes done here. And I have been going for about 2 years and each time I get a different lash artist and each one has done a great job! I faithfully come here for my beautiful lashes! They are the best salon in town!! I will always encourage people to go here!

Daniel was superb! He was so professional and did an amazing job. He was so conscientious about what I wanted done that he took the time to ask me if I was satisfied. I would highly recommend him. The facility is so clean and the staff and owners are so nice. You feel like you are hanging out with friends.

I’ve been in search for a new nail salon and chose Nailed and Lashed because there were openings and I was desperate. First off, they have an armed guard and only take cash. Red flags one and two. Second, they were understaffed but had all these appointments so I waited about 25 minutes after my appointment to be seen. Now here’s my main issue. I found out today they use MMA, which is ILLEGAL to use because it’s designed for dental use. It took over an hour to take off. So not only do they use cheaper, unsafe products for your nails, they also charge you more for poor application. Don’t waste your time or money at this place. Severely disappointed.
