After my previous hairdresser moved away I tried a number of establishments in Bloomington without huge success. I went to Eddie at Perfect Illusions and received the best haircut in a long time and also exactly what I described I wanted. So Eddie listens and then translates into a highly skilled cut or color. The color job was painstaking and turned out great. Reasonable charges. Highly recommend Eddie.

Once in a while you go to the grocery and you get a cashier who is actually friendly and can also bag your groceries right with all the frozen stuff together. Well I finally found that in a hair salon at Perfect Illusion. Eddie Relick is one of the most down to earth, easy to talk to, kind hearted people you’ll ever meet and get this… He’s really good at cutting hair! They are reasonably priced, don’t make you feel rushed and don’t try to push a lot of product on you like other places. It’s nice to go where you can have your cake and eat it too.

This place is wonderful! Today was my first haircut there and I got in contact with Kelly there before hand and after a lot of communication, I am very pleased with my haircut! She is wonderful and very talented!

I love Perfect Illusion Salon a lot. But I highly recommend Eddie Relick to be your hair stylist. He is one of my best friends. I have been seeing him ever since I was 14 (in 2010). I'm from Fort Wayne and I come all the way down to Bloomington to see him and I don’t let anyone else cut my hair except him. He is very caring, gentle, kind, and comforting if you are sad, scared, or not feeling like yourself. He gives the most relaxing head massages when he is washing your hair. He also gives the best destressing services if you need some distressing. He also gives the best hugs if you need a hug from someone.
