After being turned down by a couple nail salons, I came across Laurel Nails and they took me in right away without scheduling an appointment. They did a spectacular on my nails.

Yesterday was my first day here. I loved the people they were very nice lisa and David helped me with manicure and pedicure, they didn't do a good job. I rate their job a 5. I regret not getting the name of the lady that did my eyebrows, she did an amazing job 10/10 for sure. I will be going back there only to do my eyebrows.

Just got my nails done there and the older woman did a TERRIBLE job! I wanted short rounded nails and she gave me nails that are poorly filed..and two different sizes. A few of my fingers are glued to the acrylic itself. The paint job was so bad also. I hadn't even left and it was coming off and all over my fingers. I'm going to go to a shop in Studio City to fix this. You really do get what you pay for.

The worst nail salon ever!! Never go there. I came for the refill and mentioned to the employee about one nail hurting due to the crack in my nail under the acrylic one. Usually it is easy to fix and pain stops right away. She told me as soon as she refills that nail it is going to stop hurting. She didn't take care of the nail in pain properly and just filled it with powder like any other nail. I kept telling her it is still hurting and it looks like she just ignored my complaints or didn't understand English. (Usually when there is a crack in the nail, the pain goes away right after opening the area with the crack and cleaning it). I know that for a fact as I have acrylic nails for 20 years now so I've had all kind of problems with them but never had a problem like this one. This is not my regular nail salon I go to, I just decided to try it for the 2nd time. After she finished refill and I left, the pain was still present and it was getting worse and worse and then burning occurred and the pain went up the whole hand and arm. I couldn't drive with such pain so I had to just walk across the street to the nearest salon and they removed this nail and said they can't put a new one for the whole week. So I have to be without one nail for a week. Also this close by salon told me if the pain will not go away I'll have to go to the doctor. I called Laurel Nails and seems like they weren't really responsive to this issue. Don't go there. Not a good place to do your nails. Update: It's few days later and even though the bad pain is gone but the nail still hurts so today I went to Laurel Nails and they refunded my money however the employee who initially did the refill for me showed a lot of attitude and actually blamed me, instead of just saying she's sorry. Not a professional behavior.
