My friend Christine is a student here at Tanya’s so I Gave it a try. I came in for eyelash extensions and I must say I fell in love with this place!! Amazing prices, welcoming and nonjudgmental. More than happy to accommodate your requests. Yes the services take a bit longer than going to a regular salon. But when you come here you are helping students achieve their dreams. I have since referred 4 more ladies here and they have all loved it as well. I have had my nails done here too and they were great. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Okay so... This place caught my attention because of the 4.3☆ reviews. This is not recommended for adult hair cuts. $5 cuts are best for kids.. this is a school of cosmotaligy and cuts. The lady who picks up the calls or is the cashier is very rude. Stood at the counter for 5 mins, she sees me standing there and walks away.. one of the students had to remind her that im a customer. Students are chill! How does one mess up a #2 trim

I had two services done today. I scheduled an appointment for a Mani and Brazilian wax. The Manicure does not look professionally done, the student said, "White is really hard for me. Next time I will do better". This took an hour and half.
The Brazilian was the most awful experience ever. There was 2 students and one instructor. The students asked the instructor to show them, the instructor said, "Just do it". One of the students was letting the wax dry and pulling against the hair. The instructor did not correct this. After I got home, I still had a lot of wax down there and hair. Furthermore, the room was dirty. The beds had paper on them, but the under sheets needed to be cleaned, as there was disgusting hair, shoe marks, and dirt on them. It is my guess that they did not use the right wax. This was the most painful waxing experience ever.
I do not recommend anyone to receive any type of service from this place.

I got eyelash extensions a couple weeks ago and it only took 30mins which I was very surprised about considering most eyelash extensions take 1hr +. I hated how they looked. They were crooked, not symmetrical to eachother. The lady also used so much glue! My real eyelashes are so damaged due to the amount of glue she put on they stuck to my real ones and coming out. Super cheap for eyelash extensions but not worth loosing many of my lashes.
