nice, friendly people, I love my PCP and I've seen one or two terrific doctors, BUT OVERALL the administrative management is a wasteful MESS of inefficiency! Specific personal examples follow. The Covid Test registration staff is great, but the in person registration staff DIDN'T COMPLETE my registration, which created a snafu. The anesthesiologist, as I awaited surgery IN THE O.R. spent 15 minutes arguing with the surgical staff (she didn't like the equipment set up!). Several acquaintances told me they had been either misdiagnosed, or so slow that it cost one his life. It's a PROVINCIAL kind of place, friendly, but unreliable due to administrative mismanagement IMHO.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE big stars for DR. DANIEL BOURQUE for saving my husband's life. Everyone else around him is a primitive, they gambled with my husband's life for almost a week up until Dr. BOURQUE showed up. Thank you for your knowledge and great manners Dr. Bourque. We're gateful to you.

I spent four hours in the ER yesterday. In the rooms beside me, I heard, time and again, the nurses and medical staff comforting others who were in far worse shape that I was. The called them "dear" and "love" and were as warm an accommodating as they could be. The way one goes about care can be just as important at times as the care itself. Well done to those teaching and leading the staff at Mt. Auburn to care well. Communication between staff there could be a bit better. I had an EKG when I came in, and an hour later, another tech started to hook me up to run an EKG. I told him I'd had one and was able to avoid duplicate tests.

Useless medical services in the ER. Do yourself a favor and go to a better hospital with more competent medical staff. Came in with a kid's arm fracture. Were greeted by a rude receptionist barking orders. Waited for 2 hours to get the vitals taken, another hour to get an X-ray done, and another hour for them to tell us they don't have a clue what to do and to refer us to the Children's Hospital's ER. End result - Children's took great care of us, while we ended up with two ER bills. Next time won't ever bother going to MAH and being billed over $1,000 for the advice to go to a different ER. What a joke! And on my inquiry the business department staff member kept repeating like a broken record: "I understand, but once you come in, you get billed, whether there is a medical resolution, or no". An expensive lesson learned: never go to the Mount Auburn Hospital!

I had my babygirl back in June and I recieved the best care!! Nurse Courtney who is a labor and delivery nurse was awesome and definitely needs a pay raise. All the nurses, CNAs, midwives, and Dr Zoe Mcgee who did my c-section was incredible!!
