The only reason this review is getting one star is the nice colorist. My sister received a gift from a friend from Gilt to visit this salon. Upon showing the colorist what she was interested in doing, the manager told her that it would not be possible and she would not be able to use her gift card. When she asked for options of different color treatments, the manager continuously told her that they would not be able to work with her. To be so instant that you could not work with my sister begs the question why? In what business model do you refuse to find any service that fits within the gift card category and instead lead the customer to the door. It is extremely disappointing that my sister when into this feeling great about up dating her look and instead left feeling down on herself because the salon refused to work with her. Please think about how your employees tones and actions effect people. People go to salons to leave feeling good and that did not happen for my sister.

My daughter had her hair done at a local salon, a two toned angled bob, which turned out poorly. I found Charles Ifergan Salons on the internet and read a particular review on a successful color correction. We were able to get an appointment for the following day. Angie, the salon colorist who took my call, did her homework and had several recommendations ready as soon as she assessed the condition of my daughter’s hair. No pressure. It was completely up to my daughter how she wished to proceed and she was well informed about the processes and costs. The staff was very well trained and highly skilled and it was easy to have confidence in their abilities. She decided to go with an all over color correction. I cannot tell you how impressed we were at the outcome! The staff worked tirelessly through the complicated process and yet maintained cheerful conversation, offered beverages, and sought to make her comfortable in every way. They even stayed late to finish, blow dry and style her hair. My daughter now has gorgeous chestnut colored hair that looks so natural you would never know she was the same girl who walked in with the black and blonde two toned bob earlier that afternoon! I cannot thank the staff enough, particularly Angie, Victoria and Bre! Your dedication, skills and professionalism are superior! I look forward to making my appointment as well as bringing my other family members to the Charles Ifergan Salon in Oak Brook!

I have had my hair colored by Kennedy at Charles Ifergan on oak street twice and am thrilled with her work. My hair is naturally ashy and dishwater and I either end up being over highlighted so I have no dimension, or I end up with a dark color that makes me look tired and pale. I have always wanted a more sun-kissed natural look and am happy to say Kennedy is the ONLY person who has achieved this. I live in Michigan and will try to make trips to continue to see her, I don't have endless funds to do so but will save just to do it!; she is that good. She is friendly, listens, knowledgeable and just a great guy in general. Also, the way she colors helps the color last and look natural for MONTHS so I'm not visiting every 8 weeks like I used to. The salon itself is gorgeous and the staff is SO NICE which is a welcome change from many salons. I highly, highly recommend;)

Beyond excited to climb the four story staircase to be greeted by Jamie Wallace, my hairstylist today. I could not be more impressed, happy and thrilled with the outcome of my hair. From the hospitality, offering water, coffee or tea to the shampoo service, beautiful staff and fabulous products it all made me feel at home and very happy.
Jamie cut my hair to perfection. She has a fun, generous, down to earth, kind and professional technique that brings the wow factor. We laughed and she taught me how to take care of my hair moving forward. I have got nothing but compliments on how wonderful my haircut looks.
I am all smiles and can't wait to return.
