Mai And her son Thinh were wonderful. This is a small nail salon and their customer's satisfaction is very important to them. I did a set of acrylics for $27 and a fill costs $17. Open most days until 7pm which is very convenient.

This was my first and last time here. I loved the salon that was in this same place that closed and was disappointed when I tried this new salon out. I went for an acrylic refill. I also saw they had nail art samples and selected a pink flower design for my ring fingers.
The nail technician burnt me several times with the power-filing tool...to the point I actually bled. She didn't apologize, just blotted the cut with paper towel.
The nail art sample and the actual results were very different and disappointing. The flower sample was pink and she had painted it red. When I pointed this out, she just put pink polish over the red. They charged $5 extra for the nail art.
It took 1 HOUR & 20 MINUTES (not including drying time). It doesn't take that long for a take off, new full set, and painting all 10 nails with art at other salons.
Then I had to dry...my nails were still tacky after 20 minutes of drying. While waiting for them to dry, I watched the technician clean every surface (counters, seats, sink, drying area, and THE PEDICURE FOOT RESTS) with the SAME rag, only using water from the sink. That really concerned me about the lack of sanitation and made me question how they clean/disinfect everything else. I went home and immediately put antibiotic ointment on the cut.

The new owners as of MAY are super sweet. They are just like the old T Nails use to be. They got new massage chairs. Give them a chance. I've lived Boston, DC and now San Francisco and their mani/pedi is just as good as any of the awesome ones there. These are people who bought and invested into their dream. Give them a chance.
