I waited 3 days before writing this review just to process my experience.
I called ahead of time and found out how much gel nails are. I was comfortable with the price, etc. I came in and they were super busy (great sign, right?). I met with Thoa who was very pleasant and started removing my gel nails I had before. She started filing it down, and I'm used to technicians (I'm coming from another state) carefully using an electric nail shaver to file it down without any damage to the nail bed. They got someone else to explain that this is the process they use. I decided to allow them to continue but I noticed later my actual nail bed had grooves in it from when she had filed it. I would have not written this review if it was only Thoa who worked on me. I could tell gel nails were not her specialty, that she was just trying to start off the process. When she did my pedicure, she did a good job.
I was then transferred to Julie and I couldn't how imagine the experience could be worse. The first strike was in filing my nails down. I've never had my nails hurt when a tech is filing it down - excuse me - sawing it back and forth. I was like maybe it's because it's late in the day, let me kind of motion to her with my body language that I'm in pain. She kept saying - your nails are long but they're weak, and I thought, first of all, that's untrue (no other nail tech has EVER told me this, and I've gotten superb service multiple times in another state) and bad customer service to repeatedly say this while you're incorrectly filing my nails and as your colleague embedded deep grooves in my nail bed. Finally, I had to call her out and say, listen, it's hurting me when you're filing my nails. She would then start filing it correctly and then go back to doing it the wrong way. I was just like, WHAT IN THE WORLD?
I just sort of checked out after that to be honest, and left after getting the nails done. I will say the nails look good, but it was just a significantly excruciating process, and I have to do some research on how to heal my nail bed. I will also have to take some biotin.
Please please if you go here, make sure you research which techs are the best and book an appointment with them. I will not be coming back to this store.

Of course it differs from nail tech to nail tech, but I found one there who does a great job (Kim). Nice shape, thin and not chunky, all nail lengths match up to the opposite hand. I don’t like how they charge for length when doing a fill in because that part of the nail is already done. Although there are a lot of shops that charge for that, unfortunately, but overall I really like this place so far.

Cutest little Vietnamese ladies!! So kind and sweet. The salon is clean, and visually appealing. They do brows! And they did an excellent job with my American mani and French pedi! Highly recommend!! Ill.be a going back every time!

They do a really through job. Got a pedicure here and it was definitely quantity, they really take their time. I messed up the color when putting on my shoes twice and they were super understanding and patient with me and fixed it twice!

I went to LD nails for the first time today and I am so sad I waited so long to try this salon! Helen was awesome! Her skills are fabulous and she was friendly and made sure I loved my nails.This is the lowest price I've paid for SNS with tips. The salon was super clean and the chairs were comfy! My nails look the best they ever have and I can't wait to continue to use this salon in the future!
