My hairstylist Jane, never disappoints...I always get an amazing cut, colour, and style. The other stylist are very pleasant, and accommodating as well. I would, and do, recommend Lutar Salon to all my friends and family!!

My husband and I have been tanning here for a couple years, mostly without any issues. They offer a military discount and are the best deal I could find in town. There is never a wait to tan and they have a stand up. One time last year I stopped by in the evening to tan and although it was during business hours, the doors were locked and no one was there. I called and left a message but never received a call back. More recently, the owner had to leave the country due a family issue. During this time, I attempted to tan 3 times in the evening. The doors were locked and no one was there and it was during business hours. I called and left another message. I never received a call back. I spoke with the owner, Jane, today about the incidents and explained that I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism of the salon. They could have posted a sign, or changed their hours, or even returned my message. Nothing was done. As I was in the middle of explaining my frustration of paying for a service, Jane's phone rang. Without so much as saying "excuse me", she picked up her phone and had a conversation. After she hung up, I told her I thought what she did was extremely rude. She offered me a refund and I declined, stating that I would finish my tanning package and take my business elsewhere. She was completely unprofessional and unsympathetic. Even when I tried to explain how rude she was (and I told her that I am not one to complain, normally) it was as if she wasn't listening. During this entire time she was working on a client's hair. It wasn't until several minutes into the conversation that she finally extended an apology. She clearly has no concern for her clients and has no business being an owner/operator of a tanning/hair salon.
