Over charged & lousy work! I dropped in for a simple polish change. I've been here many times before and always had a good experience but, this time the people were different. I think there is new management/ owners now. After choosing my polish I was told to pay $8. I usually get french polish and it is always a couple of dollars more and in the past was $8. This time I just wanted one color and it's $8 so I assumed that they had raised their prices. I paid the woman the $8 and gave her a $2 tip. After she finished she had me go to the drying table which was next to the menu and I saw the price for a polish change was still in fact $6. When she came near me, I brought it to her attention and she told me "that's the price for kids, for babies." I said "no, it doesn't say that anywhere." She repeated herself and I told her "so you think customers in a nail salon should assume your menu prices are for children?" She didn't answer, went to the till, got $2, tossed it down in front of me and walked away without another word. She of course, kept the $2 tip!!! In addition, the top coat she applied was so thick & sloppy that it never completely dried. Here I am 2 days later and my polish is so soft I can easily smudge them & they look horrible. While she was polishing my nails I attempted to have light conversation but she NEVER uttered a sound in response. She of course was Asian but she spoke and understood English pretty well so she chose to be unfriendly! I hope anyone reading this review will take my experience into consideration before wasting their money. I know I will never return. Btw, I was there on a Friday at 4 PM (the Fri. before Thanksgiving), there was only one other customer getting a Mani Pedi and only two other nail techs in the place. In hindsight that should have been a red flag to me that there was a problem. This would normally be a busy time for a nail salon!
