There has to be underlying issues for the negative reviews as I have been taking my labs there for grooming for years and years. They are always super busy which is the true test of a well run business. All of their groomers are experienced and do excellent work. In all my years I have never seen any of the groomers being disrespectful to their customers. There has been a few times that it took a little longer than expected but upon inquiring as to reason why it was always because customers did not show up on time for their scheduled appointment, thus causing a day long backlog and causing the groomers to stay open hours after their scheduled closing time. And they never once cut corners with my dogs grooming. It got to be so bad that they had to start charging a late fee. Maybe reason for some negative reviews? I have gone to other groomers in the area but once I found The Grooming Station I would never even consider going anywhere else. Give them a try as I guarantee that you’ll walk out a happy, satisfied customer and return time and time again.

We have been taking our two Schnoodles, Ellie and Sophie to Tanya since they were puppies. They are 10 now. We have slowly seen the quality in service decrease every time. This past grooming session was when we had to draw the line. Ellie started twitching her head a couple days after she was groomed. She’s prone to ear infections if the hair in her ear is not cut because it is so thick. When we took her to the vet they showed us what the real problem was. Her ears had been completely destroyed by the clippers - swollen cuts everywhere. You couldn’t get near her ear without her wincing. This isn’t even the worst part. When we called Tanya to question her about it she told us that she didn’t even cut her that day, showed absolutely no remorse, no sorry, and only replied “we just won’t cut her ears anymore”. You would think someone who cares about dogs (especially ones they have a 10 year relationship with) would care a bit more. DONE with that place.

Took my mini poodle there and I guess they have 5 year olds grooming the dogs? I got her back and they had skinned the armpit of her front right leg. It was blood red with no fur left. On top of that, I examined her chin and under it, there was a spot 1 inch in diameter that was as red as a tomato with no fur. I swear it’s like they’re trimming the dogs with samurai swords I wish I could upload pictures to show. What they did to my poodle was borderline animal abuse and my dog yelps whenever I touch those spots on her body. Don’t take your dog here

I have no issues with the groomer! It is the Covid Policy. I was exposed and found out 30 minutes prior to the appointment ( I was not told by the affected person until 30 minutes before appointment that she went for the test appointment or she was exposed!). THE MANAGER CANCELED THE APPOINTMENT. The groomer called and told me I had a cancellation fee. I did not cancel! The manager did. I would have masked up and curbside dropped my dogs off. FYI groomers are excellent! Manger canceled and I get the cancellation fee! Beware! The manager should pay the fee she cancelled!!!!
