Worst Gel Manicure EVER!. A lady Zena worked on my today and although she was polite the shop had terrible outdated equipment. She proceeded to use an electric file machine to file the old gel off my nails effectively destroying my nail beds. She left polish on my finger skin and cuticles. The gel coming out of the bottle was chunky and now my nails are not smooth but instead bumpy. I truly feel like a 5 year old did my nails.
I was charged 30 for the manicure and 5 for the soak off. The shop owner proceed to charge me a total of 38 saying it was tax. I checked the tax laws for NYC and found that the tax on a manicure service is 4.5% so the bill should have been 36.5 not 38.
This place is a total rip off - ladies do yourself a favor and even if your in a pinch go somewhere else!
