I had gone to this salon for many many years but when I realized there were much better places I stopped. Today I decided to get a quick pedicure there only because i wanted to get a quick (cheap) haircut right next door. Worst pedicure I ever had. The massage chair barely vibrated, the leg/foot massage done by the tech was quick and not so great. I paid extra for the foot scraper and when I got home I realized my feet were still rough and had dead skin!!
Overall a poor job and I remembered why I don't go there anymore! i usually don't write reviews but I feel this poor experience warranted one

Today was my first time going to Modern Rainbow Nails on Amboy Road. Unfortunately it has been quite some time since my last pedicure/gel. I also desperately needed to get my unruly bushels that were my eyebrows waxed else a ranger mistook them for mini, dense forests. I had called a bit ahead and scheduled an appointment for my step daughter to get a regular mani and pedi (first time getting pedi,) and myself (pedi, gel, and brow waxing to neaten my furry tufts I had sprouting on my brow ridge.) Upon arriving I was greeted and helped my step daughter select her colors then sat us in pedicure chairs right away. The ladies that were giving me and my stepdaughter pedicures were very pleasant and nice. I mentioned that this was her first ever pedicure and the lady who was giving my step daughter her pedicure was an absolutely sweetheart who offered to take pictures of me and my step daughter in the chair. She was also very patient as my step daughter was laughing because it tickled. In regards to their color selection, for regular polishes they had a good assortment of colors and I was extremely impressed with the variety for gel. As far as the salon itself goes, I found it to be clean, tidy, and followed rules/takes necessary steps in regards to the corona virus. Even as you walk in there is a temperature check to make sure we were healthy and safe. Overall I was very satisfied and highly recommend Modern Rainbow Nails. They are my new go to spot as I have been looking for a new nail salon to go to. Great experience and extremely satisfied!!

Have been getting my nails done here since they opened. Before that the owner (May)was at a different salon and she did such great work I followed her here. Always greeted with a smile and hello. My nails are beautiful every time . I get so many compliments as well . Also best pedicures around ., Frannie has the magic touch ! Love this salon , clean , professional and great at what they do !

Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I came in and they told me it would be a 15 minute wait. It wound up being 30 and when I finally got to the chair the woman wasn’t even able to do tips !!! Unbelievable. And then the woman at the front (who seemed to be owner or manager) had the nerve to have an attitude/yell at me.
I would rather they have just been honest and told me the real wait time so I could’ve went somewhere else. Now I don’t have time to get my nails done today. Horrible experience and they didn’t even offer an apology. Go elsewhere.
