On May 31st I came in for a hair trial for my wedding in October. I was skeptical to trust a student with my hair but many people had recommended the school of cosmetology, so I gave it a try. This ended up being a huge mistake.
I want to start off with saying that I was a very easy going bride who wanted something fairly simple done to my hair. I was very courteous the entire time and gave a huge tip because it was obvious that the person working on my hair does not have the necessary skills with hair or customer service required to be successful in this career field. SHE COULDN'T EVEN CURL MY HAIR (something that I can easily do myself at home). I can honestly not believe that a quality school would find this behavior acceptable from a senior student.
I spent nearly two hours in the chair essentially being told that my hair was garbage and that I would need to buy expensive products if I wanted my hair to look decent. She proceeded to cut my hair too short in order to "help" the situation. Not once during this time did she seek help from instructors. Nor did she take a moment to collect her emotions. At the end I politely told her that I needed someone confident in their abilities and left.
Fast forward to my next trial at a different establishment. My hair was done beautifully without extensions or expensive products by one of the nicest people. I had not done anything differently prior. Same shampoo, no heat...simply natural hair. Of course, I told her about my experience and she was appalled.
On the big day my hair was amazing (I'd be happy to send pictures as proof)! It was done in a short time and I have still been getting compliments.
I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. The lack of skills in their senior students and obvious lack of customer service training proves that this school is not what it used to be.

Kyle was very helpful on assisting me with my product purchases. Brianna did a gorgous job on my nails. Wonderful upbeat atmosphere... Highly recommend.
