If I could do more than one review, they would probably all be five stars.
Mary M is amazing. Whenever my young daughter and I get our hair done, I request Mary. She is great with everyone in the shop; customers, customers' children and the other stylists. I recently saw her three times over the course of 2 weeks and everytime that I saw her she was friendly with everyone and did a fantastic job with customers' hair. She did such a great job with my daughter's hair that I took a picture of the two of them together and posted it here. At my two appointments I had my hair cut with layers, then had highlights and low lights added to it. I wanted before and after pictures of the coloring, so Mary took pictures, including some in-between ones and shared them with me. I love the way that my hair turned out with the cut and coloring, and have received compliments on it from my friends and family (whom never notice my hair cuts).
I strongly recommend the Cost Custters at 4700 Vestal Parkway East, in the University Plaza. The stylists are usually great, the prices are fair, more than fair depending on who you get, and the wait times aren't usually too bad.

Asked for a fade on sides, little long on top. 0 fade, just basically bald on sides with pieces of hair that she must have missed sticking out. Horrible. This place used to be good honestly.

No effort was made to understand customer specifications. Low fade with a combover was my request. The ‘professional’ delivered a fade all over and left the combover part almost at the same length as before the cut. They seem to be inexperienced. For a price of $17, I strongly would not recommend.

I go to BU and needed a haircut bc I haven’t been home in a while. I came here and asked for a 5 on top and 1 on the side. I am now nearly bald. Came out of this store nearly tearing. Can’t believe I gave them money. Learned my lesson though, don’t let anyone in this town do anything to your body.

Showed picture and told exactly what I wanted, Yet messes up my hair. (Cuts it too short) Never going back.
