I went to La Rouge for the first time last night and I was severely disappointed. I was welcomed by a gentleman who was very kind but the young nail tech was horrible. She refused to hear what I was asking to get which was pretty simple actually. A simple dip French manicure on my natural nails. I was told my nails were too short so she put tips on. I asked her to cut them down and she grabbed my hand and snipped the tiniest amount off. I showed a picture and said “I’d like them shirt like this…I can’t do my job with long nails”. She snipped another smidge and asked, “Is this good now?!” I again asked that she please cut them short. She refused and proceeded to file and shape the way she wanted. I’m not really sure what shape she would call it. I asked for square round which is common but I got a narrow coffin mosh type shape that was so odd looking. I was ready to get out of there so I paid and left in tears. When I picked my 9 year old daughter up from gymnastics, she looked at my nails and said, “ Oh my God! What did they do?!” I cried the entire way home at the waste of money I just spent. I got home and cut them down to my length that I wanted which then cut off all of the white French tip. So today I went to my regular salon and had to lay another $60 to get the mess of a job taken off and then new dip put on. They were able to do what I asked without butchering my nails or adding tips. I will be requesting a refund from La Rouge and if they don’t honor a dissatisfied customer, then I will have my bank reverse the charges. One way or another, I will get my money back.

They were so nice and accommodating love the atmosphere I will be back!!

If they dont know your name they dont trust you like the other customers. I didnt even get a thank you. I was charged more than what I was told. NO tip! Then when i ask for something I get told more money or it was in the powder! Never going back! overcharged for nothing! the shape isnt coffin at all! i was on that side of town and thought i would try somewhere new never again!

Shame on you! My daughter is in tears because of her nails and you refused to file her nails down more?! You are supposed to provide good service. If she doesn't like what you done and requests you to file them down more, you should do it. It's her choice. She will not be returning and will find another salon that will be willing to provide good customer service.
