Really amazing. Better than I imagined. We had a fantastic guide and hope to return! Do the first in-depth tour of the day...we had every room basically to our group. No noise from other groups or feeling like we needed to rush. A bucket list experience that was well worth the price of admission!

It has been a dream of mine to visit Fallingwater for as long as I have known about this house. I was not disappointed. It is truly a remarkable house and property. It is rare to be able to visit a property with all of the original furnishing intact. They were bequeathed along with the property to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy that now owns and administers this historic property. Book reservations early if you plan to visit in the summer-time as they can sell out prior to the date you want to visit.
The Kaufmann family were so fortunate to have been able to live here.

Interesting place to visit. If you have trouble walking uphill or a long distance make sure to ask for a shuttle to and from the house. Walking to the house isn't too bad, most is level or slightly downhill. There are several areas of stairs within the house. There is nowhere to sit in the house. The walk back from the house to the visitors center is uphill most of the way. The gift shop is a little pricey. Loved seeing the house!

If you like architecture, you will LOVE this house! You begin at the welcome center and walk to the home to meet your tour guide. The inside of the main home and guest house are decorated in a way that makes you feel like you're outside in nature. You cannot take pictures of the inside of the home. Great for photography. It's cheapest to buy your tickets online.

I reserved the earliest slot and was early. It was peaceful and I was lucky to have a beautiful morning to stroll around before the tour. The tour was a bit crowded with people all shifting rooms in sequence to deal with the 5 minute starts on the tours. But that's because it's a major attraction. They handle the crowds well and provided additional assistance to someone in the tour I was in that needed a shuttle. They told her she could sit on a bed if needed because they aren't original.
