I came here with my fiancé to look for his wedding tuxedo. The first visit was spent looking through the catalog and selecting the color and styles of our choice. These styles were ordered and we scheduled a follow-up appointment 2 weeks later. When we arrived for that appointment at 10:00 on Saturday morning, the store was closed with a sign reading "will return at 3:00." I called the store- no answer. So I called the Santa Barbara location and spoke to the manager who called his partner right away. Within 15 minutes, Jim showed up to meet us. He was incredibly helpful in measuring and fitting my fiancé for his tux, and answered our questions. He also helped us coordinate matching accessories for the groom and his groomsmen. We then ordered one additional size and asked if we could meet with him in 2 weeks, which he agreed to. We showed up to that next appointment, and felt like we walked into an episode of 90210: two high school girls at the counter gossiping about their boss and the latest Facebook drama. Combine that with a sidekick boyfriend sitting at the table eating a sausage biscuit. Very professional! We asked where Jim was and were told he wasn't coming. We instantly lost all of our faith in this business. This is our wedding day, and we expect to be taken seriously. The tux sample was there (without pants), so he tried it on and we left. We later called to follow up with Jim and were told to "wait a few months to come back" because our wedding is not until April after all. I guess we'll be going to Men's Wearhouse now. Tried to support local business, but were let down one too many times.
