really awesome pedicure here, so relaxing. She massages with a sugar scrub and then hot parafin, then another massage. So worth it. Great job on the nails too. They really took their time.

This used to be my go-to nail salon, but it has become super inconsistent and I've had too many bad experiences now. My recent visit was the last straw. I got a gel manicure and the tech did the worst job I've ever seen. He filed my nails square without asking. When I told him I wanted them round he had no idea what I was saying and just cut them shorter and left them square leaving me with stubby nails. He was also talking on his cell phone for most of the appointment which probably explains why my nails were uneven and different shapes and sizes. The color was applied so unevenly, it looked like I had different colors on every nail. I will not be going back here. I found another salon in the area which does a much nicer job!

I picked Vida Nail because they had a coupon for $2 off a set of acrylics and I didn't want to spend a lot of money at a new salon.
Also, I called ahead to make an appointment and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes of my call, when I arrived they promptly seated me at a station and offered me a bottle of water.
I prefer white tips and was told my cost would be $30 instead of the $22 I expected to pay but I was okay with that since white tips are tips are my preference. Lin was my nail tech and I am super happy with her skill!!! She was supburb when applying the powder and every nail salon I have ever been to, the tips of my nails are so thick I cannot pick up most thin object so I have been in the habit for 20+ years or having to ask the tech working on my nails to make the tips thin enough so I can pick up my debit card (that's the test lol). However, Lin applied the powder in such a way no extra filling was necessary. My tips were PERFECT the very 1st time!!!
Bonus, they are within walking distance of my home and work!

Man, I really used to like this place. Now I feel like their quality of service has declined. I started going here about 3 years ago and loved it! This last time I went in for a simple polish change and had not one, not two, but three different people doing it. POLISH! Not a pedicure, not a manicure, just polish. AND, they rushed through it so fast it was like I was putting them out by being there. I even made an appointment thinking that I was being courteous to their schedule....I'll just stick with my other salon who, no matter how busy they are, always make me feel welcome and take their time.
