I wish people would take the time to contact the store and the owner to express their concerns or dislikes about the store or it's services. There is a sign about satisfaction of your services and one about if your dog is matted, what to expect. The groomer also goes over that when you come in the store. As far as the odor is concerned there are several issues. The first is that you are in a grooming shop where the dogs getting baths and are not kept separately in an isolated room, so there will be a wet dog smell. Second the shop has been flooded several times and the landlord didn't have it professionally cleaned. Sometimes dogs come in skunked, smelly because they rolled in something or they just stink from skin problems or whatever. Bottom line is it is a grooming shop. Clients bring their dogs there to make them smell and look better. We try to burn candles and other things to help. Some days and times are going to be unavoidable. There will be dog hair blowing around the store as the fans suck up the hair also. Cleaning up during the day happens and every night a thorough cleaning is done. The building is rented so there is only so much that can be done about the way it looks. With that said, most clients didn't want the shop to move because of the convenience of the location, but the shop is relocating because of the issues that can not be changed. I am not sure why the comments are being made that there is no air conditioning because when you walk into the store there is one right in front of you and when you look back into the groom area, there is one directly on the back wall. The fans are used in most grooming shops as a way to dry the dogs only, not cool them down. As per the smoking, I apologize to anyone that was offended by that. We had nowhere else to go and tried to be considerate of others and to apologize if people pulled up when we were out there. We no longer smoke and we are moving to a nice clean store!

I've always had a great experience here. You can tell these ladies love what they do.
We are regulars and now plan to bring our new puppy there too!

They were so great to take care of my dog which he was very dog aggressive they made special time for him so he was never around any other dogs. I'm not sure why anyone would think a dog groomers facility wouldn't smell like wet dog if it didn't I would be more concerned they were notwashing our fur babies. Thank you for a very good job done

I have two very fluffy Keesonds who are treated very well at Best Friends. BF does an excellent job with my girls, even the time one was sprayed by a skunk and had to be washed 5 times. Knowing the owner is the person grooming my dogs is a plus; she is a real dog lover.

This is the only groomer I took my dog to for more than five years. My dog was dog aggressive, and scared while getting groomed, and they worked wonderfully with him. Even though he hated being brushed, especially at his back legs because matted, he loved the people there and always left a happy pooch. He always looked great, most importantly. The store carries good products and they are kind people. If someone has a problem, they should talk to the owner. I am sure they would appreciate any feedback on how to improve their services.
