Horrible experience!!!! I went in for a touch-up up nothing crazy.. I paid $75 and it didn't even take.. when I showed the lady in charge that my roots didn't change color at all instead of admitting that the girl didn't leave it on long enough or put enough on she blamed me and said it's bc I have gray hairs. What a joke!! I'm natural blonde and that's what needed done bc I went dark. Save your money and do it yourself or go to professionals bc this place is trash. I can't speak for any of the other ones but stay clear of the one on McKnight road.

I have been going there for years. I believe they do a great job. Best haircut I ever had.

I really liked the girls at the school, they had alot of ambition and talent. I was a faithful client until prices began to change. My last visit was awful. The hairstylist Deja did my hair real pretty, i loved it! Upon paying for the services a black lady, whom i believed to be an insructor, came running behind me pulling my hair talking about she needed to count how many tracks was put in my head. I was so embarrassed, infront of all the other customers that were behind me. The total came up to $110. First of all, for Empire to charge $10 a track and the client supplies their own hair, is a little outrageous. Especially if the stylist dont get paid and for it to be a school. It was very un professional for the director to send the black lady out to count the tracks in my head. I would call it discriminatory at its finest. Although I wish all the girls that attend Empire Beauty school the best, I would not spend another dime with them. It was sneaky and unprofessional.

They did my hair nice. They always do a pretty good job for the price but the lady who did mine last got bleach all over the back of my jacket and didn't even tell me or apologize or ask if they could pay for it. I literally just bought it.

I'm reading all these comments and I don't know why everyone is having bad experience. I been there twice and both times I was a walk in. And the Second time I did went I went close to closing time not realizing it was about too wit my sister and the still took is the wait was 10 mins and my sister had Grace and she loved her. She said she was sweet and even gave her a Lil head message wit her shampoo. And I had Bailey whom was great and very good at what she does. She did an amazing job and Ms T happen to be her instructor and she was thee best she was right there making sure everything was going the right one and had no problem jumping in and helping Bailey. I found out Bailey had even Missed out on a date night wit her bf who was Home on spring break just to finish my hair. So I don't know where all these ppl r getting off say mg it's a horrible place they need to remember these kids are students in their last weeks of finishing. They wanna take their time and do it right. And for the wait even tho I didn't wait long I would have given the great job they do wit the PRICES go to ur quicker salon a I want you'll pay triple then here #lovemyhair #empirebeauty
