This is the Ulta I usually go to and I usually leave with stuff I need, and sometimes a little extra. It can get very crowded due to it's location. The Westbury Gallery can get very chaotic.
Sometimes the staff does look rather miserable most days but so would you if you worked in retail. Retail is no fun. The ladies over in the salon area are pretty awesome.
I got my hair done today at Ulta and I love it. I got the pastel pink done, but Aly (the colorist I was with) suggested doing magenta to my roots to make the pink pop a little more. The thought never crossed my mind and I'm super happy she suggested it. She did everything possible to make my hair wish come true. Aly knows her stuff when it comes to color, and she was very knowledgeable when I gave her questions concerning color after care at home. If you want color, especially fun colors, go to Aly.

I went to this location to exchange a product for a new one. Ulta shipped me a product that was broken and the product leaked out into the box all over the place. The first cashier was very nice about it but then she called Ashley (with green hair) for a price adjustment. She picked up the empty tube of gel (not sure why if she was just doing the price adjustment) and asked what was being returned. The first cashier told her my issue and Ashley proceeds to give the first cashier a look as if to say I was lying. She did it so blatantly in front of me. That’s terrible customer service on her part. This is why I shop online but I had no choice but to go to the store this time. Look at my pictures. See I wasn’t lying. So rude.

Great store and a wonderful alternative to Sephora because it has both higher end and lower end makeup and hair brands. It also had a ton of other stuff like perfume, hair color, masks, hair tools and accessories. It even houses a hair salon/spa! Taking away 1 star because I feel the staff could be a bit nicer and the lines are very long ALL the time.

The employees and managers were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Items are rarely in stock... If you ask for help (for instance, I asked if I could be matched for a concealer), they grudgingly do so.
My sister also had a haircut, which ended up being terrible. When we told them how we felt about it, and if anything could be done to fix it, the MANAGER rolled her eyes, scoffed at us, and was only concerned with the money. I was appalled by the treatment customers receive here. If you are looking for a place to be completely dismissed, this is the place to go.
