The owner is great but customer service is horrible. My family has been going for years but sad to say but I will never go back.

I came in for a full set of acrylics which usually takes an hour, she rushed it and finished in 30 min and cut my finger which made it bleed. My nails are different sizes because when she was cutting them she rushed and didn’t pay attention to what she was doing. As she was doing my nails she looked up at my eyebrows and said “you should get a wax” I was taken back my that remark because what “professional” looks at a customer and says that. She gave me a lot of attitude, I have been a loyal customer of Mimi but I will not be returning after this experience.

TERRIBLE customer service. I highly advise you take the extra ten minutes to drive to the next nail salon. After numerous awful experiences at Mimi's Nails, I chose to go back because it is conveniently across the street from my house. However, when I went, I found an excellent lady named Tiffany - she shaped my nails perfectly and took her time, and for once I was impressed. I got my nails done by her on a Monday, because I have a wedding on Friday (today). I noticed yesterday (Thursday) that three of my gels were peeling off at the sides. I thought this was unacceptable after only three days of a 25$ gel manicure (even regular manicures last longer). So I went back in today at 1pm, and I told the receptionist about the situation. She said that I need to come back because Tiffany doesn't work until tomorrow morning. I again told her my event was tonight and I don't care who fixes them but they need to be fixed since they're peeling off. She told me to come back in one hour. So, I came back in one hour and another lady took me. She proceeded to tell me as she's peeling off the nails that "I am not doing this for free. If you waited for Tiffany tomorrow I'm not sure if she would charge you but I'm gonna charge you 10$ ok?" Naturally, after 10 years of getting my nails done, I was startled by this because I had only had this gel manicure for three days, and I have never been charged for a fix. I had no choice but to comply because I wasn't sure if any nearby salons had the same gel color. I was in and out of the salon in 10 minutes, and got charged 10$ for her to FIX nails that I already paid for. This is absolutely absurd, and I will make sure that neither I nor the dozen or so customers will be returning to this place.
