I’ve been twice and am not planning to go back. The second time I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and although I definitely appreciate people being efficient, they sped through service so I was done with both in about 15 minutes. And it wasn’t done well either. Not worth the money.

M Nails is the best salon in Shadyside. Very comfortable chairs, clean, and the staff is talented/straight to the point. My dip manicures last about 3-weeks and they have candy. Cindy is the best ask for Cindy!

The nail tech was horrible! I got a basic acrylic set. My nails were inconsistently shaped and chunky. She got acrylic all over my nail bed and let it dry. It was painful and made me bleed to take it off when I got home. She kept letting acrylic drip, she did not know what proportion of monomer and powder to use - something very basic. Powder dried into the acrylic making my nails look bumpy after they were painted, I got gel over the tips. When I asked them to redo my nails and that there was acrylic all over me they were extremely rude and still made me pay full price, told me I could get the acrylic off of my skin at home.

Worst manicure I have probably ever gotten, very rushed and poor quality. Went here with my friend, her manicure was equally bad especially with the lack of attention to her cuticles. The Pedi was okay and they were able get us both in quick.
We were also together and for our manicures they seated us at opposite sides of the room even though there were plenty of space is available for us to sit together. Super annoying.

I have been a walk-in customer about twice a month for the past six years, but made an appointment this time for my daughter’s 3rd birthday - she really wanted a real, first mani-pedi for her birthday today. So I called and booked a double appt for the two of us. Walked in today five minutes before the prescribed time, and no one would tell me whether they had record of my appointment or not - only that it would be over an hour and a half to wait, and “we probably won’t be able to get to you at all.” No apology, no explanation about what happened, no attempt to figure out a solution - I would have been happy to just have her nails painted, which wouldn’t have taken more than 5-10 minutes. They just told me “no” when I mentioned that we were here for our appointment and proceeded to ignore me from there on out. So angry and disappointed. I really loved this salon, but the total disregard for my kiddo’s birthday and a scheduled appointment has earned some other area salon my bi-monthly business.
