I had never been to this salon before yesterday so when I called I didn't know what stylist to ask for. I am very happy that I Diane was the stylist that returned my phone call. She was very kind over the phone and asked me to text her pictures of my hair and I was also able to send her a reference photo. The day of my appointment she greeted me as I walked in the door and was finishing up with her previous client, sanitized her work area and I was able to sit down in her chair right at my appointment time. She had my reference photo pulled up on her phone and asked me some questions to make sure exactly how I wanted my hair. Diane did a full head of highlights on my hair, she took me from a dark blonde to a very light blonde and it looks amazing! She also cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and I couldn't be happier!! Diane was very friendly and did very detailed work. I highly recommend going to Diane for cut and color.

Christina is the bomb!!! She has amazing skills and will not ever disappoint! Wonderful personality, great experience.
Get into the boardwalk before all appointments are full!

I am super happy with my hair cut. I got antsy and gave myself a really bad coronavirus haircut. I came to Boardwalk as a walk in and after a very short wait, I was helped. She did an amazing job with what I had left her. Thank you so much!!!

I decided to stay local and visit a salon in town rather than Palm Springs. I am NOT very pleased with my cut, as I look at it the day after. I asked for a simple medium length bob and it looks like a chopped up mess. I have VERY thick hair so I know it will take a while to cut through all of it however the stylist sped through it instead of taking her time. It looks like something an amateur stylist with very little experience would have done. I do not recommend.

Finding a quality salon in a small town is difficult business and as a result I've tried several stylists ranging from 29 Palms to Yucca Valley over the past few years. Some stylists move, others are just not that good. Thankfully I've revisited the Boardwalk and met with Christina. In years past I've been to this salon but with a different stylist (who has since moved on).
Bouncing around for the last year and less than impressed by other stylists I set an appointment with Christina. She did a wonderful job with my color in quick and efficient time. She also had to work to blend and attempt to fix what could be considered nothing less than a butcher-job I received at my previous cut by a different stylist. The cut correction will take several months and more visits but I'm confident Christina is the right choice to fix me up.
Nice color, good haircut even with the harsh cuts of days past and reasonably priced. I'm happy to be supporting another 29 Palms business and the location is terrific too! Check them out!
