I followed my stylist, Christine, here from another salon about a year ago. Encore Studio has easily accessible parking, contemporary design, refreshments, and friendly staff. I can only speak to the hair portion, but they also offer manicures/pedicures, makeup and waxing. Christine has been terrific with cut, color and the styling of my hair. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, and they use quality products. It is a little pricier than other salons, but definitely worth it!

I've been getting my hair cut at Encore for the past few years, and I'm consistently very pleased with their service. The staff at the reception desk are friendly and always offer you a drink while you wait. The stylists are highly skilled and take the time to ask what you want and really listen. They also use great products, which keep my hair looking smooth and tame even for a couple days afterward! I recently got some coloring done here, and am so pleased with the way it came out. I highly recommend this studio if you're looking for a place with a posh atmosphere and some of that Kerrytown charm along with reasonable prices for great service.

Nice place and people. Not happy with my blow out by the Stylist Bee. Doesn't take the time to really blow it out and style it - doesn't do it in sections. Looked awful and had to go out looking like that after.

She took off a little more than I thought she was but it is a great cut and done well. Great place and worth the pain it is to park in Kerrytown.

Friendly staff, nice location, didn't have to wait long. Haircut (just a trim) was fine and she gave me a nice blowout. Would return.
