Long story short: I made an appointment, and upon arriving I found that I would have a 45 minute wait.
Now here’s the long story. I need my nails done day-of for the nights I have performances because I need to make sure they’re in tip top condition. My usual salon had a party booked for the evening and they were unable to fit me in. I made an appointment with Duci Salon to give me enough time to get ready for my show. I called to say I was going to be there a couple minutes late due to traffic, living across town, and having to pick up my child from daycare. I showed up literally three minutes late, to be told that I would have a 45 minute wait to have my nails done. Mind you, I understand I was late; however, I don’t find it professional or acceptable that someone with an appointment, who calls and says that they are on their way and just a few minutes late, gets told they now have a 45 minute wait. Anyway, I’ll never be going back. If I had been able to get my nails done, I probably would’ve had good things to say. I tip usually about half the amount of the service, which means I spend about $70 at a salon for one visit to get my nails done. *shrugs* They lost a potential returning customer today.

The owner does a amazing job he is a true artist. Just make sure you show up on time and I recommend making a appointment. They work with you if you have a design in mind.

Cheri with Duci Nail earns a 5 star review with every service she gives. She will talk with you, remembers details, stays late if she/you happens to be running behind, and takes her time with every nail. I've seen her around 10 times now and it's beautiful every time. I've seen her for standard polish, acrylic, pink/white, gel, and pink/white ombre. I highly recommend!

Seriously, Ms. Cheri is a fantastic Nail Tech!!! She works so quickly and does a fabulous job AN I MEAN FABULOUS!!!
This place is truly THE BEST I've came to for service. They offer a large, very large variety of colors and the cost of service is definitely affordable and very well worth it!!! So worth it that I'll probably never go anywhere else an i live just about 2 hours from here.. ( Visiting family in Lawrence) Needless to say, I'll be visiting more often while stopping in at Duci Nails is a must!
I travel often so, please take my word as I'm sincerely trying to warn everyone reading this, other Salons are ripping people off with the ridiculous prices. Seriously, this Salon even has great quality polish. I know polish, Okay!
To Ms. Cheri, thank you for accepting my walk-in & doing what you do best, so well & so quickly and PERFECTLY!! 😍...I'll definitely be back. You're a sweetheart. Absolutely Amazing!
