New to town, I thought Rosa was doing me a favor by fitting me in her busy schedule with a haircut and highlights. Once I got home, I could see a VERY noticeable chunk on the side of my face which she had missed. I hated to say anything as she DID fit me in( supposedly she doesn't take new clients?) but I texted her a photo and she apologized and told me to come in the next morning. All was good ( mistakes DO happen) until I sat in her chair the next day and mentioned that my sister had said my hair was "bleeding" and after googling 'bleeding' that was not in fact the correct term in what i had written in the text to Rosa the night before. All was good, until Rosa comes back after mixing my hair paste with her little brush and snips "why don't u get your sister to do your hair?" Whoa! I am super chill and just said "oh, I would NEVER let my sister do my hair, she's not a hairstylist" I could not wait to have her correct her mistake and get out of there!! How rude!? The more I thought about her comment, the more I felt it was really uncalled for and soooo snippy. I was just not going to go back, but I wanted to share my experience. I also thought $159 ( that's not counting the tip!) was a bit pricey. Perhaps her clients blow smoke up her butt all day, but I think her work was subpar and her snide comment was so out of left field. Who does that? I should've walked out then, but it was one of those things where the more I thought about it, the more incensed I became. Plus.... I wanted her to correct my hair since it was on the side of my face and noticable or I would've lived with it.

I came here on a whim; didn't know anything about it except the Google reviews I had read. Rosa took her time listening to me, valued my opinion ans offered great advice. She cut my hair EXACTLY as I wanted it. I love it so much that I booked my 6 year old daughter an apt with her next week! Thanks again Rosa, you are the best!!

Fantastic haircut. Convenient location. Pretty salon. Rosa took time to listen to me and gave me great ideas, advice and tips. I needed a cut that allows me to "wash and wear" and that's exactly what I have. Can't wait for my color appointment in December! I might have to reschedule and come earlier! Rosa suggested that I could go a little darker with some fun highlights. Really looking forward to it. Thanks Rosa!

After a highlight gone bad, Rosa restored my hair to a beautiful color. She takes her time, has wonderful suggestions, and always is a pleasure to be around. My hair always looks fantastic when I leave. All the staff are friendly and the surroundings tastefully decorated. The areas are clean and the products are high quality.

I found this place on yelp with really good ratings, I went in yesterday and was not disappointed! What I wanted done in my hair was a challenge but luckily Kaitlin did an amazing job! The highlights, color, cut and blow dry all turned out amazing while she also gave me advice on how to maintain my new hair! I'm completely satisfied with my experience, I recommend Advanced Hair Design and will come back again!
