The carpet was old and stinky when my parents moved in. My parents, who are not hearing-impaired, were put in an apt for the hearing-impaired, so the fire alarm in their room was extremely loud. Management did not grant my parents' request to move to a new apt. inside the complex over the 6 years they lived there. Fortunately, my parents finally found a much better place to live. On the day they moved out, a large piece of the building's outside upper siding fell to the ground near the building entrance. Thankfully no one was hurt. So glad they are out of that place, it was a bad experience.
