My husband and I have been going to Champagne Salon and Day Spa for several months. In the beginning we were able to have a pedicure and a manicure simultaneously. Ann is amazing and she is only reason I gave this place a two stars. Otherwise, it would be 0 stars. It is extremely difficult to make an appointment. The people at the front desk answering the phones are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Recently, there has been only one person doing nails so my husband and I would have to follow each other which meant taking longer to get the job done. It appears that the person answering the phone is a new person every time I call. It is difficult for them to understand we are husband and wife with a different last name. I would think with computers now a days, we would be in the system and the person answering the phone could access the information when I call. I will spare you the details, but when I showed up for my appointment today, they had me scheduled for tomorrow. I know I did not schedule for tomorrow as I remember telling the person answering the phone I was going to be in San Mateo all day on Friday. She just did not get it.

I hate to be the bearer of a bad review, but I did not have a good experience here. I had acrylic nails that I needed removed and replaced with shellac. I didn't have the main nail technician, but if I did I imagine my experience would have been better. The acrylics were taken off so haphazardly that my nails are still recovering a month later. The acrylics should have been soaked off but were more or less ripped off with nail clippers instead. One of my nails is so thin that the skin underneath it is sensitive to touch. My nail technician also arrived to my appointment 15 minutes late and spent the majority of my appointment complaining about a miscommunication between her and the person who initially booked my appointment. I did appreciate the hospitality of the receptionist and masseuse who offered me a massage while I waited. All in all, I think my experience would have been much better had I seen the main nail technician.

Super nice staff and beautiful atmosphere! Got a full set and pedicure and they both came out really nice. Will definitely be back.

Sarah is very friendly and knowledgable about hair health and color.
I recommend her highly.
