Went in for a trim. Was asked how much I wanted off, I said an inch at most. She looked at my hair and said my split ends were only about half an inch and if I just wanted that. Did a great job, very friendly and good conversation.

Mary Lou is the hairdresser that did highlights to my hair. She is very patient, cheerful and professional. She did an awesome job to my hairs. Would definitely come back for future hair needs.

I went here with a gift card that I had been holding onto for a while. It was to expire a little over a week after the date of my appointment. I wanted a manicure and to get my hair trimmed, but because the nail lady was booked, the receptionist that I had spoken to on the phone said to come for my trim and they'd put the remaining balance on a new card.
So I went for my trim, and told the woman that I wanted about 5" off, I only wanted what was actually dead to be trimmed off. (My hair was long; down past my waist.) I also showed her, I wanted my hair to be trimmed to about the bottom of my rib cage (still very long!). I told her before she started that I could not see in the mirror because the chair was too low, but instead of moving the chair up, she had me stand when I had to show her where I wanted it trimmed too.
As she was washing and cutting my hair we were talking about how long it was and how I love it long. She then told me that she was only taking a little bit off, and we could always go shorter. So she moves my hair to the front of my shoulders and asks what I think.. but I couldnt see because the chair was too low. So I had to stand up, and to my disbelief, she had taken about 12" off, if not more! Then she told me she didn't think she had taken more than 5"!
When I sat down to have it blow dried , another woman came by to sweep up the hair.
My hair is now just below my shoulder. NOT what I had in mind AT ALL.
When I told her about the gift card, she told me I better hurry to make a nail appointment because the woman who does nails was almost totally booked through the card's expiration date.
Then, when I came home, I ended up having to touch up my hair myself because it looked very choppy and there were a few chunks of hair thay were an inch longer than everything else.
Needless to say, I will NOT go back here, gift card or not.

The Owner and Staff are the best in the business. I'm always greeted with a smile and the feel of the place is like going home for a haircut. I'm sure glad I found this place can't wait to go back.
