This place is incredible! Honestly loved my rizzocurl (something like this). It truly fixed my hair which was dry and my curls were shot, but they managed to make it the way it was after I put my hands on it. I recommend this place to everyone, especially for people who have curly hair. Believe me you do not want to miss out on this place. Everyone is great and the prices of the products (in case you need them) is not even bad. I had Stephanie and she was truly amazing and hope to have her again soon/ I honestly feel lucky to have found this place.

Hello everyone, Sadly to say my daughter waited two months to get a rezo cut with Nubia. Unfortunately her hair was a disaster. No curls at all. After she was done cutting her hair she passed her to her assistant to finish her work. If she is so professional tell your clients before they pay you $150 that it may be a chance you won't get volume curls. She is so over rated and she got a scam going. Then once you done you end up buying her products. Please dont be her next victim!!!

I had my appointment booked last Saturday at 10:30 a.m. He was running behind and I wasn't seen till after 11. My cut took about 15 minuted to complete and I loved it dry and still do now. However, everything after that made me feel uneasy. He said he'd put a gloss in my hair to add shine and help it look healthier; it ended up being a few shades darker than my color and I did not want to go dark at all. The timer went off and about 10 minutes after someone came to rinse my hair. Another 15-20 minutes someone else came to wash and "set" my hair. I then had to sit under a dryer for about 45 minutes. I did not like being tossed from one station to the next, being worked on by different people and not explained anything to. I was watching the other stylists communicating with their clients and giving them tips, showing techniques- I did not get that experience. After the dryer I was sat in another chair to diffuse my hair. I looked in the mirror and did not have curls, I had wavy shaggy hair. My hair, when done at home is type 3B curls. The lady in the front asked me if my hair was transitioning from straight to curly because that's the set that was put in my hair. I was offered a free set with the correct products to use which I scheduled another day because it was close to 2 pm. This is a very busy, big, beautiful salon and for the money I spent ($200+) I did not feel like it was personable or time was given to attend to me respectively.

I like to give thorough reviews so hear me out. $95 (before tip) haircut. Hair type doesn’t matter here but for the record I have 3A/3B curls that I rarely straighten and it’s not dyed and I’m Latina. Here’s the process that I got: 1.) Dry cut (~ 5 min) 2.) Washed, conditioned, gelled and scrunched (~20+ min) 3.) Misted and diffused (~ 30+ min) 4.) Oiled, fluffed/shaken (~5 min) 5.) Detail cuts and hair sprayed (~2 min) I was there for an hour and a half. Now may I mention hair products used included Oui-da that I misspelled here and some product that begins with an M. And I worked hair for that styling process as it was a strain to the neck so I was excited for the end product. The haircut itself was voluminous and the curls came in higher that’s normal in a haircut but the curls did not come out defined. They also had noticeable frizz and a small flat spot on the top of my head. The amount of product used made the texture feel hard and rough. I didn’t walk out ready to go out. And I have styled my own hair with better results using 1-2 products that cost $3-4 a bottle. And using less time. Staff was very nice, professional and patient and even kind to still see me despite being late. I’ll also mention this none of them had curly hair. The girl who washed my hair and all was nice to explain the products and what she was doing. The rest of the people who worked with my hair didn’t explain the products or what they were doing unless I asked questions which came with not thorough responses. Only the haircut portion was worth it to me. And mind you I have been to a none specialist Dominican salon that did a cut that was pretty decent for $20. So overall I don’t think this trip to the salon was worth $100+ after tip and that much of my time. 3 out of 5 stars in my book. If I were to come back it would probably be for the dry cut by itself if it isn’t ridiculously expensive.

Nubia was incredible. I was suffering from protein overload and Nubia literally brought my hair back to life. I’m going for my second cut on September 29 for a light dusting of my ends and a reshaping of my hair. If you have curly hair, I strongly recommend that you give this place a try.
