I'm new to Virginia; so, I was not informed about any good nail salons. However, I do not drive; therefore, I needed to go to a nail salon that was close to my college campus for easy and affordable traveling costs. I went on Monday, August 30. When I first walked into the building, it was quite small, which is expected since the establishment from the outside looked like it was stuffed between these other buildings on that one strip. I found out on Mondays and Tuesdays, they don't have many available employees; so, it's best to call for any other day, but Sunday because they are closed. I happen to get lucky because I didn't mind waiting 30 minutes since I paid to get to that specific location anyways. One lady speaks perfect English, and the other does not (which is expected and not a problem. I also can be plain ignorant and she does know English but speaks in a low voice). The young lady that "does not speak English," also, doesn't know how to do fake nails, which could be another reason why the wait was long or because she had another client coming in (which she did). In my opinion, when the lady answered the phone when people wanted to book an appointment, her attitude and tone was not it for me. It felt like she was being rude or mean bc she was in the middle of doing the woman in front of her nails. I can relate to it, but, she is running an establishment, and you would think her demeanor over the phone would be a lot better. On the other hand, that could be bc I am sensitive and how I was raised. I needed a manicure and pedicure; I also wanted gel polish because I don't like to wait (due to being uncomfortable in one spot tooooo long), and I like putting my sneakers right back on my feet. My feet and nails that day looked good to me, however, I am not the type of person to overly analyze my feet in public to make sure she polished the whole nail (corners/cleaned up nicely). It has been a week and 5 days, and one of my nails broke. The rest of my nails are like edging off my finger like you can see a lot of space between the fake nail and my cuticles (which I never experienced this early). The polish on my feet is chipping, but it is not noticeable to others. The shaping of my nails look uneven as well, but, that could be my fault because my hand posture and not correcting her. I would like to go back bc I am used to the service there, however, I am not comfortable or okay with how my nails currently look. I'm not comfortable showing my feet, but, I will show what my hands look like. Regardless how the reader feels about my situation and hands, does not change how disgusted I am right now with the outcome. Both thumbs look the same.

First and foremost I think even the “nicest” salons in CH are terrible. They are rude, expensive & on top of that dont even do a good job. I stopped in here today on a whim and they took me! The older gentleman did my nails and to be honest he did exactly what I asked for in the picture I showed him.
I payed 42$ for acrylics/tips/French and that price is also the tip I gave the nail technician. So in my opinion- SUPER affordable. The only reason for the four starts and not 5 is because it seems like the d
Salon itself could use a little facelift but besides that it’s amazing. And I will return. Best experience in colonial heights so far-
PS- in the picture the white spots on my nail are from where I ripped my nails off before and they are now a little damaged*

Will never go back there. Very nice people, but the person who did my nails did a horrible job. My nails look like I've had them on a month instead of just over a week. They use white nail polish under their main polishes and it looks so tacky. They also don't cover your whole nail with the mail choice or acrylic. I expressed my discontent while my nails were being done and I guess these days nail salons won't redo your nails. You must have to take what they give you. I'm not going back. It was against my better judgement to go there but I was being so thirsty to get my nails done I went anywhere that took walkins that particular day. It's what I get.

I had my nails done there because my normal salon had a 3 hour wait list and I couldn’t wait that long. I paid extra and got gel polish, which is supposed to not chip off! The next day it was all coming off and a nail broke. I called they said they would fix for free so I went back got my nail fixed and re-polished and the next day the polish is peeling off again and another nail broke! Their gel polish is no good!! I will not be returning! Waste of my time and money!

My daughter and I was lucky they was able to get us in. It was my daughter's first time to get her nails done professionally and she was so happy and can't wait to get them done again and next time she'll get her toes and nails done.
