I must have come on a 'off' day. I did have an appt and they got me right in. I came for a manicure and gel nail polish, which is supposed to last longer and costs more than the regular polish. The man that did my nails was very professional and focused on his work. During the process it seemed though that he was either new or maybe in a hurry. I'm not sure if you are supposed to shake gel nail polish before applying but he had a very hard time getting the color to go on evenly. The heat thing you stick your hands in to dry didnt seem to stay on very long it didnt seem very warm when it was on and it appeared he was having a hard time getting it to work right at first. I figured he knew what he was doing though so I'm not one to complain. At one point he was moving it around and collided with my nails and so he had to 'fix' 3 of them. He did fix them though and proceeded on, and apologized. That was ok. I understand things happen. When I was done and ready to go I asked him how much and it was $3 more than I had been paying at the Walmart store on Pacific. That's ok I accepted that. I paid my bill, tipped him and left.
I'm a talker so it kind of bummed me out that we weren't really able to converse. He obviously couldnt speak English well so he probably said about 10 words to me through the whole process. He did his job though so that's what matters. I have to say though, when finished and I got outside into the light it really bummed me out. Out there I could really see the results. The color wasnt blended. You can see tiny pools in the polish where it isnt spread on evenly. The polish goes all the way back to the edge of my nails and in some places is even on my skin. The biggest let down of it all though, and why I decided to write this review, was because the very next day already the polish is chipping off.
I hate to complain and seldom do but when you charge $28 for a gel manicure you'd kind of like it to look professionally done and last longer than a day.
I have seen other reviews for this place with high stars so I'm just hoping it was just an off day for them. I felt though I needed to be straight forward and honest with my experience though because the public needs to hear all reviews good and bad. Everyone deserves a second chance. Hopefully he will have better luck next time he does a manicure for another customer. 💛

I went in to get gel nail French manicure and a pedicure. The guy who did my nails seemed to have no experience with doing gel nails. He filed and then put the polish on without primer. He then moved me to the pedicure chair and removed the polish from my nails. He started painting again but again he did not seem to know what he was doing. The girl doing my pedicure couldn't do a good job because she didn't want to mess him up while he was trying to do my nails.
As I was waiting for my toes to dry the guy who was doing my nails was working on someone else. The lady stopped him and said she would wait for another technician because she didn't like what he was doing.

This place is under new owners. I feel that if I am going to go into a nail establishment for whatever reason the tech doing the services I am paying for, please talk to me. I found that the dialect is from Asia somewhere. The techs talked amongst themselves in their native tongue and not to me in the native tongue of the US. Will not be going back. I did not know if they were talking about me. If they were, that is as rude as them speaking amongst themselves.

I’ve been going to the owner for a few years now, (even though she can be rude at times), this was the last draw. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, she was not available and asked me to come back, I tried to go back and she texted the following:
“All I have to say now is big SORRY AND GIVE UP YOUR NAILS”
hence, why she can’t keep any employees.

Super friendly staff. Stopped for a pedicure. Very attentive and apologetic for the wait but i didnt have an appointment so i understood. Didnt wait too long and my massage wasn't rushed
