Usually my oxtail here is prepared perfectly so it falls right off the bone. This last time I went it was not. However, this is still one of the best places around to get your prepared oxtails and curries. They have a large selection of island drinks and goodies! The price is pretty high, but not so astronomical to keep me away yet when I get my Caribbean cravings.

MP International is a great find! The food is always delicious, warm, and FULL of flavor. There are multiple choices at the food window, the portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. If you like this style of food, you must give them a try. They run a great grocery with island items you can't find anywhere, fresh seafood, and the attached restaurant is one I strongly recommend. The attached photo is lunch (small) portion. Jerk chicken, cabbage and mac & cheese. You order at the hot food bar, then pay at the register. I believe the restaurant part is now taking cash only.

This will be appreciated for people who understand true culture of the Caribbean. I love it here I can get all the cooking ingredients from here and good fish. Grab a hot plate when I'm done shopping for amazing price.

The food is good here when it's fresh. It's normally not hot, but warm. They give you a lot of red beans and rice and not that much of whatever meat you choose. The staff doesn't talk much, so I'm not sure if there friendly or not and it appears that they just want to get you in and out the door quickly.

Food is fresh and in the show case..So you have an opportunity to choose your entree of choice..as well as they will cook what's not in the showcase...Just ask them they will let you know what's AVAILABLE..they also have lunch specials Mon thru Fri.
