I walk into nail tech, I ask the man working there if he's got time to give me a fill, he said yes. He tells me to pick a color and I tell him that I brought my own. I take a seat where he says to, and I just BARELY BEGIN to explain him that I had some minor problems with some lifting and he cuts me off, stands up and says in his broken english, "You go somewhere else! I no work on nails I not put on! You go down that way!" (Motioning to go down towards Victoria Secret and Ulta). What the heck is wrong with people? He had NOBODY in his salon! It seems these people have ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND NO SOCIAL SKILLS!!

This is the only place I ever get my nails done. I’ve been going to Nail Tech for about a year and I’ve never been disappointed by their work.

I went to this salon 5/2/18. I was worked on by an obvious tech that did not want to do my nails. I tried to talk to her to see how her day was going, in more of an attempt to see if she was in a bad mood and in that case, I would not want her to finish. She was rude and short with me, but kept insisting that I would get my nails done the way I wanted. I told her that I wanted SLIGHTLY rounded edges, not square nails and NOT round nails. I showed her a picture of the shape and the design I wanted. she said ok. So after applying my nails, she immediately went to clipping the sides OFF like she was attempting coffin nails. I told her that I did NOT want the sides cut off, simply rounded a bit! She said that she would fix them. So I patiently watched whatever was on the TV in there just so I wouldn't be fixated on my nails.
She continued her work and I didn't even want to look at them, she cut the sides of my fingers, the nails are so thick and crooked... they are sore now --even while typing this--and there is paint, glue and acrylic stuck on my fingers. She barely attempted to file my nails down, they are so thick its ridiculous...she didn't run the pointy file under my nails to get the edges off my skin...she didn't buff them out to be smooth...they ARE A MESS! I have attached photos of my nails to this including the picture of what I showed her I wanted.
The tech went on working, towards the end...she yelled at me saying that I always get my nails done and then just take them off. I said YES, if they aren't what I want I will remove them and have them redone. I didn't ask for anything from her, just to make them how I want them. She said I just need to do my job and NOT look at my nails, but I work with the public and that's one of the first things people see are my nails...which is WHYYY I get them done...Obviously she is in no condition to be working with the public, and should probably just stay home for a while. I REFUSE to explain myself to her, I pay for my nails every time and I should get what I want...its not difficult...but it literally is HER job to make them look right!!! I am adding pictures to this, so if anyone is thinking about going to this shop...they seriously RECONSIDER!!! Unless you're in the mood to be scolded and told what you need done...so please, take your business elsewhere!!!

Filed a written complaint with the mall and plan to contact the BBB about this rotten “salon & spa”. My little sis and I return to Nail Tech the following day of my little sister’s horrific experience. My little sister explains: “I asked the girl at the front for a MANICURE with gel and acrylic, the girl, who displayed understanding of my request, sits me down with no nail tech. She pulls my tech from what clearly looked like a much more important break and relays my request in mandarin to him and I assume she tells him the 3 things I requested upfront. He reaches for my hand with an expectant and an annoyed look, w/o saying a word. First thing he does is jabs into my nails to cut them to the skin, I said “ow” and there was no reaction from my tech. Tech asked, “real or fake nail”, I said “acrylic” and he starts grinding my bare, unpolished, REAL, and healthy nails with the electric grinder damaging what he must have assumed where fake nails in which he needed to remove? Thanks a lot. Now, after my healthy nails are destroyed, the tech proceeds to apply the acrylic nails and cuts them in the worst possible shape and files them in such a way that my skin is being scraped raw, again there is no reaction from the tech from my obvious display if pain. At the end, my nails looked like they’ve grown out a week since my cuticles weren’t cut due to the manicure never being done which I originally asked for.”
Now, I am there with my little sister (who btw has little experience with manicures which is why she didn’t know when the manicure was supposed to occur in the process, otherwise she would have made clear again that “yes, I want the manicure!”) and I tell the tech who did her nails I want to speak with your manager since he was LAUGHING in our faces once my sister mentions her skin hurts around her nails. Turns out this prick is the manager. I asked the manager twice why he didn’t ask my little sis if she wanted the manicure included, like my tech clarified with me, and the manager gave two different answers: 1st was “I did ask her” 2nd was “I asked real or fake nail and she said fake, means no manicure”. Although, they charged her for the manicure and acrylic (total of $35 payed + undeserved $5 tip) acrylic with gel costs $24.99 and manicure costs $10 = $35. Manager states, “I don’t want to deal with you anymore” and calls security who turn out to be on our side and gave us the complaint form and recommended we contact BBB. Nail Tech wouldn’t even remove the terrible job they did, told us it would have to “cost us”. Customer satisfactions clearly means nothing to Nail Tech.
