The manager of Sunshine Nails is the absolute worst customer service provider. While my appointment started over 15 minutes late, the nails were great. At the end of my appointment, the nail tech accidentally spilled polish on my off white sweatpants (see photos). Paid full price for my service and was shocked.
Spoke to manager and made her aware of what happened - showing her the brown polish splatters draped across my white pants. She asked how much my pants where. Upon revealing the pants were $50, she demanded a receipt. The pants were a gift. She then said she can take me to walmart to get new pair and stated my pants (less than 3 months old) were old and dingy. While I do not shop at Walmart, the remark was a classist dig based off of my race and gender identity.
She scoffed at me and allowed me to leave without any resolution or compensation.
This was one of the most jarring experiences of my life and discourage anyone that seeks equitable service to stay away.

I have been a patron of Sunshine Nails for over a decade. The salon services and customer service are the best in the DMV area! Vicky is truly an artist and trains the staff to provide a great service to all of the clients. I have used all of the services, nails, pedicure, waxing, lashes and I am always satisfied. I enjoy the whole vibe of the salon and have been able to see the growth over the past 12 years! They are always ahead of the trends and new techniques. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not complimented on my nails or lashes! So if you want a professional, fun and friendly salon, I highly recommend Sunshine Nails!

Loved! Loved! Loved the service. My nail tech Ciara was ready and was top-notch. She wasn't distracted and gave me exactly what I asked for. Definitely will go back!!!

This nail salon doesn’t focus on nail care and maintaining natural nails . I visited for the first time and left with my natural nails feeling weak and brittle from shaving down the nails too much and soaking the nails in acetone . I noticed this salon only use quick methods for nail service (gel polish or dip) and the manicure isn’t your typical manicure. The salon is very small and the atmosphere isn’t calming it feels like you want to get in and get out . Parking is limited. I called and was told the manicure is $35 but was charged $45 once time to pay. I did not leave a tip and will not return .

I love Vicky she is the CEO of Sunshine nails! Vicky runs a excellent shop! very professional very clean. I never been to a salon like this before the whole staff is extremely professional and nice. However there was a customer today that was very rude also very unprofessional !! And very nasty to Vicky! ! I’m very proud of Vicky! Vicky was still very professional towards the customer even though the customer was nasty to her Vicky explain to the customer she do not have a problem taking care of her after she finish her clients that have scheduled appointment with her! Moving forward I highly recommend come to sunshine nails you will not regret it there quality is excellent.
