I have visited Zamora many times for various hair styles and treatments. They are an extremely friendly team and take care to listen to my hair woes. I like the fact that I can not only get my natural braids, etc but I can get color and shampoo and much needed advise for future styles. I also love the first Friday Happy Hour dancing. Great family environment.

Do not recommend, the owner is not professional and the new stylist they have can’t do hair to save her life. How can you mess up corn rows??? Don’t recommend Loc maintenance at all!!

This was the absolute worst salon experience of my life. I called and sat my appointment for highlights and a tapered cut after doing a ton of research and reading reviews and even speaking to some of you ladies about your experience. I went in pretty ecstatic about the new style and trusting that they would do a great job. My appointment was set with Marie. Firstly, I arrived to the salon that morning before she did. Once she arrived I try to put that aside as I understand traffic or what have you ,but no sis came in with McDonald’s, unprofessional moment #1. From there again still very excited about my new style I over looked that and began showing her photos of the length that I wanted to retain and the shape I was going for. I even had photos ready of the color I wanted. I was completely prepared. We get through the highlights and to the wash and she offers a conditioning treatment and of course I’m like “yas give me that moisture.” Then we gets to be cut...I was turned away from the mirror the entire time. And I was also continuously holding up the phot on my phone of the style for my hair. She makes commentary the entire time saying things like “yeah this will look good on you” or “you don’t want to go too short.” So imagine my shock when she spins the chair around and I literally have less than an inch of hair left on my head!!! She completely botched my hair and had no remorse. The phrase she gave me was “It will look better once I style it.” To that I responded “That won’t change the length of my hair.” This pretend natural stylist has little to no knowledge on how to handle natural hair. Clearly in tears I leave the salon because I do not what this woman to lay another finger on my head I was then offered by the “receptionist” to have the opportunity to speak to the salon owner, who was also no where in site while I was there. I sprang 4 years with natural hair and rarely ever went to a stylist beyond getting a blowout twice. This has completely destroyed my image as I have to figure out what can be done for Work if anything. And I most definitely will be filing a civil case. DO NOT CLAIM TO BE A NATURAL HAIR SALON IF YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ON ETHNIC HAIR. I am highly disappointed and I will tell anyone that will listen to go else where, save your money and your hair. I have linked photos of my hair originally, the style I selected, and how I left. I am disgusted. Please beware!
