If there was something less then a star. I would give it. I went in the doctor literally took a minute with me in the room. Didnt even check my issue. Observe it or none. She automatically knew what was wrong base on what I sold the assisting nurse. But no if I'm going to pay anything out of pocket I would love to at least get a real consult. Educate about my issue if she took her time to examine my scalp that is. But that's how they make there money. Tell you it's nothing and have you coming back 5 times until they finally find some.

Dr Sarkell was fabulous but I will NEVER return to the office nor will my spouse. The billing dept is a joke. They have no clue what they are doing. They bill you for things you don't owe. I have repeated spoken to them (6 times) and proved that my insurance paid and we owe nothing. I have sent the proof in the mail 3 times and even dropped it off in person at the office. They don't follow up with anything. Stay far away from this office if you don't want stress and aggravation. They will send you to collections when you don't owe it.

I've been coming here for a few years and while the in office service has improved (meaning the doctor or PA no longer make you feel like a nuisance or is rushing you out of his/her exam room), the billing department is terrible. They don't answer the phone and im basically chasing them in order to settle my bill. The prescription line for questions or refills never answers....and I mean never. This place is terrible. I'm sure there are other places worthy of your patronage. This review is in regards to their office at 3000 N University Drive. The SpaCosmedica office on Sample road is much better. No complaints there.

Pros:
It was a very short wait time from arrival-paperwork-seeing doctor.
Cons:
The location isn't the best-the building is easy to see from University Dr., but the actual office is tucked away behind a large structure, making it difficult to find.
I went in to see Dr. Goldstein about what I thought was skin tags. Instead of consulting or informing me of any procedures or educating me on my skin condition, she immediately grabbed a very painful device which burns them off. When I hesitated, she insisted that it would not hurt much, BUT IT DID! Of course I wasn't prepared to see & smell burning flesh, so she stopped after trying to remove a few.
Her nonchalant and rushed bedside manners were not acceptable. I definitely will NOT be going back to this place!
