I've never seen a play here that isn't Broadway quality. I personally have performed on Broadway and have loved everything they do. I saw Hunchback earlier this year and felt as if I was living the story with the lovable characters. They always cast the elite of Utah. The building and stage itself are absolutely breathtaking. Concessions are very affordable and delicious. One of their employees, Anthony, took very good care of us and assisted our every need. He even stuck around to help my mom find her lost phone! We felt right at home at Hale.

New place is great. They do focus more on spectacle than anything else though. It's a great place to get children interested in theatre because of that though. If it's 's show you already know you'll really like how they do it. If you're looking for focus on character or the story then see it somewhere else.

Shows range in quality from fair to excellent. I've seen several there, including Beauty and the Beast, AIDA, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and more. They generally have a good variety of family friendly shows throughout the season. Prices for tickets are on the upper end of reasonable; this is not a budget night out. That said, you will most likely enjoy the show.

This was a very beautiful building and they put on a great show. We went to see a production of Newsies here and I really enjoyed it. The acting talent was great and the theater itself really added to the show. The sets rise up from the floor, wheel in from the sides, and sometimes drop from the ceiling making a relatively small circular stage into something large enough to offer a real sense of scale. If you're the type who loves a good theater production, this is one of the best places Utah has to offer.

I saw Newsies here. Great show. High production values and talented cast, with excellent direction.
The venue is very nice. Very helpful ushers and other staff. Nice comfortable seats and the small size of the theater plus the theater-in-the-round makes you feel close to the action.
My only nitpick is that the parking garage is kind of confusing and it took longer than it should have to get in and out.
