Not just a great valley, but a shrine to human foresight, the strength of granite, the power of glaciers, the persistence of life, and the tranquility of the High Sierra.
First protected in 1864, Yosemite National Park is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more.

On of the best experiences I have ever had in my life.. breathtaking views. A combination of mountains, valleys, lakes, green.. just loved it.. try it if you have the courage to walk a lot and take loads of pictures. Spectacular

simple words cannot describe the beauty of Yosemite NP. Due to the heavy snow in the winter of 18/19, Yosemite, Nevada, Bridalveil and Vernal falls were all flowing and there were many unnamed "whisper" falls. the mountains called and I went.

The views are stunning. The waterfalls have been absolutely amazing. I took this photo today. I am sad to leave but we will be back next year.

A truly tranquil national park. Perfect for clearing your mind and exploring nature. For me it was a perfect park for sketching/photographing wildlife and landscapes.
