I have been going to beyond beauty for over 2 years, and I am never disappointed. I have had my nails, hair and waxing done. Kim is amazing, she does the best nails!

I've been going to this place since Sept 2012 for haircuts and tanning. My kids got their haircuts there a few times because the prices were pretty low.The young men working the counter in the first few years, both sons of owner, were always friendly and attentive - just really nice guys. Sadly for us, they are no longer there. The owner was a bit cold in the beginning but I thought if I smiled more and tried to be friendlier, she would warm up and she did. She always did a great job with my trims.
However, experiences there with the salon workers in general is another story and it has become noticeably worse. Almost every time we came in to tan, if the counter guys are not there, the ladies act like they're bothered and upset. We try to smile, thank them, and speak in a kind tone but, nope, they just don't liked to be "bothered". Tonight, though, was my final straw. The cut off time to come in and tan use to be 6:45pm but was changed to 6:30pm. I admit I walked in at 6:31 but I wasn't going to do the full allotted time I could use - which is 20 minutes. I could see the staff was cleaning up and there were no visible customers there. This is usually a red flag because in my experience, they try to close early when no one is getting their nails or hair done. Tanning customers are still paying customers though. When I was asked how long I wanted to go, I answered 18 minutes. The first girl attending me asked, "Can you do 15?" And I having had some experience with their behavior before simply said,"No, I would like to do 18." She quickly walked away, spoke with another worker, and then that gal came up front and angrily told me, "You can't do more than 18 minutes" which made no sense because I can't set the timer anyway. I reminded her that the cut off time to come in and tan is 6:30pm and that I wasn't going to cut myself short because they want to leave early. I went to tan. By the time I came back out to the lobby, the lights were off, two employees were standing in the lobby with their coats on and the gal who told me I "couldn't do more than 18 minutes" was sitting in her suburban with her engine and lights on. I looked at the clock, which read 6:55, then looked at the young man - a newer employee - who apologized to me. I was right, he knew it, and the end result is that I am never going back. From others I have spoken with, my experience is not unique. Too bad. It went from a fairly good experience to a bad one. I still wish the owner well but that staff... well...you know.

I feel like they are inconsistent with the job they do. Sometimes I leave happy sometimes I don't.

Always able to get in fast and get out just as fast. Friendly and great at what they do!

So, I got curly hair. And I get a fade on the sides. So i try to get a haircut from here, And i used to go here for 12 years because my mom brought me here for the low prices. and every time I have hated the haircut, and sure as a kid you never like haircuts, but I am a teen now, i go to different barber shops, and I love what they do, then my mom says she can pay for my next haircut if i go to this place. So i go, I ask for a 1 to 2 fade, and for a trim on the top, my hair was long before I got this haircut, THEN THEY UNEVENLY CUT MY HAIR, THE SIDES WERE MESSED UP AND THEY MISSED SOME PARTS SO I STILL HAVE MY LONGER HAIR ON IT WHICH LOOKS RIDICULOUS, THEN THEY TRIM THE TOP, CURVED MY HAIR, MISSED THE LEFT SIDE SO NOW ITS ALL UNEVEN AND IM SCREWED FOR THE NEXT 8 WEEKS CUZ I DON'T WANT TO GO ANY SHORTER. that was my last chance, sorry guys, (I did ask them to fix it, they said nothing was wrong with it, but I could tell they just didn't want to do it)
