Small kids waiting for more than 30min in a small space with the TV next to their nose. No heads up from the staff about waiting time and no apologies/explanation about the delay. Had to leave without seeing a doctor. No call back for rescheduling. Parents got upset, kid got 30 min of screen time and red eyes

Highly recommend Dr. Ono. The staff I saw recently was friendly and helpful, I didn't have the experience noted by others. Have been seeing Dr. Ono for over a decade and he is always super positive, knowledgeable and helpful in helping me keep my eyes in the best shape possible as I age.

I was so nervous coming in here as a new patient, the last four Eye Care Specialists I had gone to were condescending, so rude, and never focused on just the routine Diabetic eye exam that I needed. I am happy (and relieved) to say that I will be sticking with this office. In my experience as a former medical professional, I have seen many highly rated offices that have been absolutely awful and I am not a high maintenance patient. They got me in and did my exam with no fuss. The staff function just as they should, I saw them handle a very difficult patient there and they were going above and beyond. Dr. Ho was great, she has a good bedside manner and gave very open and honest advice. I see a lot of negative reviews on here about missed appointments and insurance, and those items are the patient's responsibility so I wouldn't take those seriously. I had no trouble getting a confirmation and the office even called me days before my appointment when there was some missing info on my insurance just to make sure I was ready to be seen. I have been seeing this eye doctor for many years at the Seattle location and will be going back there. This is my first experience at the Bellevue location and the front desk staff were immediately rude and unprofessional. One person behind the counter (Tye?) raised his voice at me and got into my face. I am actually leaving to drive 2 hours home without being seen here today. I understand people having bad days but it is not acceptable to interact with me (or any patient) in that manner. Do yourself and your family a favor and DO NOT book an appointment at Puget Sound Eye Care in Bellevue.

The receptionist there is not responsible, when I made an appointment for my 2 son and daughter they said that they were not scheduled and could come another day. My son had to wait there half and hour and they never attended him and told him to leave. For my youngest daughter I asked for an interpreter on her appointment which was September 3rd, when we got there there was no interpreter and the receptionist said that the interpreter was on October 3rd. On September 4th my oldest daughter went to pick up her glasses which we received a phone call telling us to pick them up. The receptionist said that we needed to make an appointment to pick up glasses. I respect my surroundings and the people around me but the receptionist can’t always disorganized.
