Walked in at 7pm on a Thursday and they were more than happy to do my refill and pedi at the same time. Finished in 30 minutes! Friendly staff and good prices ($37.50 total)... will definitely be back for dip powder overlay and pedi!

I had been a regular customer at tip top for years! Unfortunately i will NEVER be going back and I’ve told all my friends and family to avoid this place. I kept going back because it was just so convenient for me since it was a block away. However, every time I walked in, I would leave with cuts or with nails that were half painted. The last time i went in was to get my nails done for my wedding. Helen did them since she’s “the best”. I got a powder manicure since my natural nails were really long. All but one, so Helen put an acrylic. She left it longer than the rest and every time i told her it was way too long compared to the rest she would say that i was wrong and would start speaking in her language. I’m sure she was either complaining or talking smack just based on her tone. Anyway, she left that nail longer and convinced me to get my under arms waxed. She waxed each side about 2-3 times and the hairs were not coming off. She was in such a rush that she started plucking them. I told her to stop because it was way too painful. She then told me my armpits were too sensitive and she didn’t know why they were “bruising” if she used the sensitive wax. She charged me for waxing even though all she did was pluck and told me it would look better later. It didn’t. The next morning (my wedding day) my armpits were RED with blood and painful. It was my flesh that was exposed because she yanked off my skin so every time I moved it was rubbing and getting worse. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed all day and tried not to lift my arms so no one would see how gross my armpits looked. I will NEVER come back here nor will any of the people i know. don’t waste ur time or money here! Soooo not worth it!
