I wish I could have put zero stars. This is by far the worst salon I have ever been to in this area. The lady told me one price and without informing me decided to tack on extra dollars. Not only that but it was a very hostile and not relaxing environment at all. The nail technicians have no concept of cleanliness and the place is filthy. My nails came out terrible and my pedicure as rushed, unsanitary and overall a bad experience. I went to Spring Nails not far from this salon and was treated with top notch service! This salon “sunset” will hopefully be gone sooner than later, I ended up with athletes foot from the pedicure. They don’t sanitize anything! And they get annoyed if you ask them to sanitize. Disgusting and waste of my money. Charged 90$ for a gel manicure and spa pedicure that was streaky and they were so cheap didn’t even use cuticle gel. Spring nails and Magic nails much cleaner and much better quality/cleanliness.

This nail salon is very unclean and they say one price and then change it when it’s time to pay. They quoted me $60 for my new set however decided because my nails were “longer” they said I owed $70. I told them they told me it would only be $60 and the lady was rude. Also they don’t use new clean supplies, they are very unprofessional. They claimed I had never been there before and I showed them the card they initial to get $10 dollars off after a certain amount of visits. Will never go back - very disappointed. So rude and nasty.
** editing so I can reply to the owners response. Very unprofessional also you do sanitize or use proper hygiene example : dipping the same stick into be whole entire hot wax. You’re always suppose to always use sanitized tweezers I got an infection from that. And I know exactly what I was quoted which was $60 exactly like I did he last 2 visits which you say I’ve never been there before then how I would get card that’s initialed by your employees who serviced me. This was my 3rd visit and my last. You are not a business who is honest nor truthful. I wouldn’t be surprised if the health department looks into this. Too expensive for me? I paid you but did not tip due to these reasons and also you had someone say 60$ to me when I scheduled my appt and then decided it was $70. The fact you’re upset enough to say things that are criticism from a former Client in my opinion as someone who’s parents own a business sometimes it’s good to get feedback that’s the truth. I’m a well seasoned nail client. 14 years of getting my nails done 7 years with just one business who sold it.

I was nearby Sunset nails today needing my nails done. At first I was skeptical in going due to the recent negative reviews. But I was desperate so I gave it a try anyway. And oh my goodness.. I am glad I took a chance. I had a basic mani pedi, the price was listed for $30. And let me just say that you get the bang for your buck. As soon as I came in I was greeted by a lady. She told me to choose a color and I saw her immediately walk over to the pedicure chair to clean the basin and put a plastic liner over it. She then directed me to the pedicure chair which is equipped with back massage and USB port 🙌. She washed, scrubbed and gave me a good 5 minutes HOT STONE massage before painting my toe nails. I didn’t want any surprise charges so I had to ask about the massage. Unfortunately they speak pretty limited English (the reason I took one star off) so I had to speak slowly. I don't usually talk to my nail technicians, so I didn’t care too much as long as there is no misunderstanding in pricing and the service I asked for. Thankfully, she understood and said no extra charge. To my surprise this place is actually very clean. I saw the lady that worked on me take the sterilized tools from a sealed plastic bag and the foot scrub was one time use. My manicure went about just as good with a nice treat of a back massage while in the process of drying my nails. Really no complaints other than maybe the language barrier. Would definitely come again when I’m near the area.

Love this place, extremely clean, and the staff are so sweet! They also happen to have ever color you could imagine for SNS, Gel, you name it! Definitely my go to nail salon in Yorktown ♡♡

Really nice atmosphere and really fair prices. The beauticians are really talented and friendly too!
