Been going here for 7 years to see Kathy. I have thick hair that turns into a fro when unkept. She's great at thinning it out which enables me to have longer hair, while looking professional. Bonus points for her head massaging skills, humor, and travel tips. They always offer beverages upon arrival which is a nice touch.

RACIST ASS PEOPLE.
There are plenty of other salons who do hair.
The difference between this salon and any other salon which I will be going to from now on.... is how you treat your customers.
You will not have a successful business if you don’t treat people like human beings.
You can’t tell a girl that her hair is too difficult to work with without even looking or feeling the texture of her hair. People with decency don’t judge people by their color.
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE “difficult” HAIR WHICH I THINK IS MOST PEOPLE.
DON’T BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE.
Plus if you read the other reviews they’re trash. One girl walked in wanting blonde hair came out with blue. 🤷♀️

When I walked into the salon they took one look at me & said 'you didn't tell us about the texture of your hair, we can't do difficult hair like that, you can find another salon that specializes in that across the street' NO ONE EVEN CAME OVER TO ME TO TAKE MY HAIR OUT OF THE BUN AND ACTUALLY LOOK AT MY TEXTURE. I am a black woman with soft curly / wavy hair - VERY MANAGEABLE. A true cosmetologist should know how to work with different types of hair. & Just a decent human being knows how to not make a person feel discriminated against by yelling that across the salon.
The VERY least they could have done was walk over to me, sit me in a chair, take my hair out of the bun it was in, & LOOK at my hair. Instead I get yelled that my hair is too difficult to do from across the salon, just by looking at the color of my skin.
& yes, I had an appointment. Spoke with someone on the phone about the style & color I wanted to get.

The hairdresser who worked on my hair and the other staff members were all super friendly and welcoming and I was delighted with the end result! My hair is platinum blonde and I’ve had trouble in other hair salons with getting the colour exactly right but it was perfect here! Will definitely be going back!
