Go to COLLEEN B for color!!!
I am obsessed with Colleen. I originally found her on Instagram when she was at another salon and have followed her to Paul Rehder! I SEARCHED for a good colorist for years and finally finally found Colleen on Instagram (check her out: @borntobalayage) - her work is beautiful. She is so sweet, so professional and MY GOODNESS is she talented. I had been going to an amazing colorist in DC for a few years and when I moved to Chicago I decided there was no way I could ever find anyone to make my hair look like that so I may as well just go dark. So, dark I have been for a few years while I searched for someone new. Colleen was able to brighten up my hair to look incredibly natural and sunkissed - a painted balayage. And I have been coming back to her ever since! We have gone down the blonde road again and I'm now a blended, natural-looking wonderfully painted blonde and I will be shouting her name from the rooftops to whoever is thinking about color. Good color is hard to find and she is simply phenomenal. Color genius (and she's always learning new tricks!).
NEXT, need a cut to go with that beautiful color!? Alex R is my girl for cut/style (Check her out on Instagram, too!: @Alexx_Style). She is SO stylish to start with and is always up on the new trends which I LOVE. Even though she is so trendy herself, she always listens to exactly what I want (and is able to guide me even when I don't know what I want, some kind of wonderful that woman is!). She is able to keep my locks in tip top shape. The last time I saw her, she was able to keep my length but add some texture for a really beautiful blended and soft look. I'm obsessed and feel like such a queen. While I love to keep my length, I've seen some amazingly edgy work that she's done too - she can do it all!
This pair is going to rule the world, I'm a real client, they didn't ask me to say this! Book 'em both, you won't regret it!

The best! Paul Douglas is my stylist. He does amazing work (total perfectionist) and is great to spend time with!

My daughter had a straightening treatment done by Nancy. Did not take. We followed her instructions so either she did something wrong or the product was bad. Though she agreed to rectify the situation she was not pleasant at all! Every time I tried to reschedule she was busy. After spending a ridiculous amount of money and giving her a nice tip, I found her attitude unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I would never go back!!

Just started going here, I followed Paul Douglas here after he sold Manchester salon. I'll follow Paul wherever he goes because he's the best there is!
