I've been to Regis a few times. The first time was a very good experience. I had a good hair dresser who was efficient and knew what she was doing.
I sent my husband there a couple months ago and he got a pretty good haircut, but the hairdresser took over an hour and a half to cut his hair. The cut was simple and about 40 minutes into it she told us she'd be done in 5 or 10 at most.
He just went there again and tried a different hairdresser and now that he's home I can't believe that his hair was professionally cut. He has random long pieces hanging off that the hairdresser missed and he told me he had to ask her to take care of that before he left too... because it was much worse and she said she was done.
I strongly advise AGAINST going here. ... if you like your hair.
