This morning I thought I’d try a new nail salon only because my usual salon tends to be a bit crowded. I wanted to relax and unwind since I’ve been dealing with a foot injury for a few weeks. I searched online for near by salons and came across this one with a 4 star rating. I figured it was close enough and it had an several impressive reviews from past customers. Please be WARNED this place is not a 4 star rating salon the previous salon was but this one is under new management! I walked in was immediately sat down and I began to explain my foot injury to the technician. However, it was like talking to the wall she continued to hurt me by touching and trying to manipulate my foot in the direction I kept telling her not to. I was so uptight from the experience I began to sweat. I asked her NOT to touch my foot and she continued to handle it with no concern. On top of that a male technician comes to my chair for my manicure and places my right hand in a water dish and works on my left. After working on my left he takes that same water and placed my left hand in it. What shocked the heck out of me was, after he worked on my right hand he dips the bowl in the foot water to wash my hands! Who the heck does that !! I was so discusted. I have never ever had anyone do that to me ever! This place is so dirty! As I sat there and looked around there were dirty towels and nail clippings on all the chairs, the floor was a mess everything was just to dirty. The owner tried to be friendly but she wasn’t very good at managing her technicians. I’m always a little suspicious when the technicians are speaking in their own language not for discrimination or anything like that. I just experienced a terrible conversation at another nail salon called Broadway Beauty Salon in Redwood City where the technicians were laughing as an elderly woman walked out of the waxing room. The technician working on my feet that day laughed and whispered to me they were laughing because the woman’s technician said “ With all that hair under her airpits I’m sure she’ll need a double bikini wax” I have to say I never went back to that salon either. I know these women were speaking of me today because they kept staring at my reactions as they talked. I’m so disappointed. I wish I could change this days experience and to top it off. I walk into my house and my toe nails are gummy and sticky. Please everyone let’s make our salon experiences inviting. after all, we’re all looking for a moment of the day to relax. Be honest and rate your salon the best way you can correct bad behavior so we can all benefit from a pleasant experience.

I dont recommend this place the acrylic nails dont last at all it's just a waste of money.

I found my new favorite nail salon and will definitely be coming back every time, Helen did an amazing job on my nails she definitely came through, definitely worth it....great service, not your average nail spot❣😄🤗😁👍

Not your typical pretentious nail salon, which I like.
The staff gets the job done, simple and clean.
Very accomodating although I was late for my appointment, which is a plus for me.
Minus one star due their attempt of ripping me off.
They tried to charge me an extra $5 for color fee for pedicure options 2 that I chose.
Their pedicure option list are as follows:
Option 1 $25
Option 2 $30
Option 3 $40
Options 1 and 2, has $5 color fee whereas option 3 doesn't.
The only difference for the 3 options they provide are the paraffin wax and types of nails sugar scrubs.
IMO, ladies and gents those are unnecessary purchase for your buck.
